Yiyuan Snow Mountain View Historical Naxi House

We booked this guesthouse in Lijiang, and it was a fantastic choice. The courtyard is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, and housekeeping cleans daily. The architecture is charming and unique. From the third-floor viewing deck, you can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain! The owner was incredibly welcoming; they met us at the intersection when we arrived late at night and helped us with our luggage. Plus, the guesthouse is super close to the main road, making it very convenient for getting around. Highly recommend!

The owner is very nice, and the guesthouse environment is also quite good. Plus, the owner has a very smart Border Collie. There's an elegant small courtyard on the first floor. However, I need to suggest to the owner to pay attention to the hot water and water quality inside the house. I woke up early the next morning and couldn't get any hot water no matter what I tried, so I gave up on showering. Later, when I went to wash my face, the water still wasn't very hot, and for a period, the water that came out was cloudy. I hope these issues can be improved. Overall, the environment is okay, but I hope the owner can improve the facilities.

The location is incredibly convenient! It's less than a 5-minute walk from the entrance of 'Xiangzi Convenience Store'. The owner is exceptionally friendly and even came out to help us with our luggage. This guesthouse is wonderfully quaint, offering a spacious and beautifully tranquil environment. From the top floor, you can even catch stunning views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It truly embodies the unique local character of Lijiang. Highly recommended – I'm already looking forward to bringing my family to stay here next time!

This is what 'a home away from home' truly feels like. My stay at Yiyuan Inn was, without a doubt, the most delightful unexpected surprise of my entire trip. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the ancient town, the inn is a serene escape from the main street's hustle and bustle. The small courtyard is meticulously maintained, with flowers and plants artfully arranged. Sunlight filters through the trellis, casting dappled shadows, and sitting on the swing chair, sipping tea and reading a book, it truly felt as if time had slowed down. The rooms are clean and elegantly furnished, with soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a peaceful, dreamless night's sleep. Every detail shows thoughtfulness, making it a true sanctuary for unwinding and rejuvenating. A special shout-out to the innkeeper, who was incredibly friendly and treated us like family! From our initial booking inquiry to our departure, she was consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful. During our downtime, we'd sit in the courtyard and chat with her, holding a cup of Pu'er tea she brewed – the warmth spreading from our palms straight to our hearts. The most delightful surprise was meeting the inn's 'little manager' – Mia, the Border Collie! She's intelligent, gentle, and has bright, lively eyes. She greeted guests daily with a wagging tail and would cheerfully, yet quietly, lead the way. Mia loved to lie quietly at your feet, offering silent companionship, and would politely take any treats offered. Thanks to Mia, the entire inn exuded a lively yet cozy atmosphere. Any dog lover would surely melt! In summary, Yiyuan is more than just an inn; it's a Lijiang memory infused with the scent of tea and flowers, and filled with laughter. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to slow down and truly experience the charm of the ancient town. We can't wait to visit again!

This garden guesthouse in the ancient town is truly a hidden gem! I was lucky enough to visit when the osmanthus trees in the courtyard were in full bloom. The fragrant scent of blossoms wafted in as soon as I opened the window. Sitting on the veranda was incredibly relaxing; I felt like I could easily spend the entire day there without even leaving.

Excellent location and the owner is lovely. The linens were clean, and it's super convenient for accessing the Old Town. Definitely recommend.

The hotel's location is superb, just a short distance from the Old Town entrance, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area and getting around. The owner personally provided pick-up and drop-off services for both check-in and check-out. They are incredibly warm and welcoming, offering valuable sightseeing tips and recommending local culinary delights based on our dietary preferences. The hotel features a beautiful courtyard and even has a gentle, adorable dog. The overall environment is just as clean and charming as shown in the pictures. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang!
