It's super convenient for entering and exiting the old town, no need to drag heavy luggage along difficult long roads. The hotel even has an exclusive tricycle service to help transport your bags, which is thoughtful and hassle-free. ❤️ The room's ambiance is fantastic, with a warm and elegant natural wood style. The ceiling height is comfortable, and the bedding is soft and clean, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The attention to detail really adds value: the wardrobe has quality bathrobes, a woven straw vacation bag, and a straw hat; the drawer contains a sun umbrella, a lint roller, and charging accessories – they've thought of everything big and small for guests. The breakfast is unique, served in small earthenware pots with a rich variety of fresh dishes. The room also comes with a complimentary souvenir, an ancient tree white tea for you to taste. Afternoon tea includes fresh fruit, flower cakes, and pastries, making for a leisurely and enjoyable experience. Upon check-in, there's also a heartwarming little gift, a handmade yak charm. You can also try plant rubbing to create your own exclusive calendar, adding a full sense of ceremony. The staff are gentle and attentive. Staying at this hotel means you don't have to rush around looking for attractions; just relaxing in the guesthouse, sipping tea, and unwinding is already a treat. If I ever come back to Lijiang Old Town, Kuanshang will definitely be my first choice. I sincerely recommend it to friends who want to slow down and enjoy a holiday. 🌿

I've stayed in many good hotels over the years, but this is one of the few that made me want to extend my stay. First, the design. The structure of the old house is perfectly preserved, without adding anything just for social media photo opportunities. The lighting is meticulously planned; in the afternoon, the light and shadows on the corridor wall slowly shift. Sitting there and watching for a while, my mind became calm. The service is what I want to highlight the most. One evening, I was reading in the tea room when the front desk staff came over, poured a cup of Pu'er tea, and subtly dimmed the nearby light. They didn't say a word and just left. It was a small gesture, but the fact that they noticed I was reading and that the light might be too bright and glaring spoke volumes. The food is also thoughtfully prepared. The free-range chicken rice noodles for breakfast are made with genuine ingredients. For afternoon tea, one day there was grilled 'rubing' cheese with rose jam, and another day freshly made wild mushroom pizza with a pot of aged Pu'er tea. For the intangible cultural heritage experience, I chose Dongba papermaking. The teacher was a quiet 'ah-jie' (elder sister) who demonstrated each step slowly: pulping, drying, and peeling the paper, all without rush. I made two sheets; I took one with me and left one at the hotel. It felt more meaningful than any souvenir. Thank you to every member of the team for their care. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will definitely stay at Kuanshang again.

The bedding was comfortable, and the attention to detail was excellent. A special thanks to Xiao Ma for bringing an umbrella and picking me up when it suddenly rained around 1 AM after I'd been out for a massage on the first night. On the third day, I forgot my luggage when checking out; the young lady (Xiao Ma) ran to catch me and return my heavy backpack. The auntie who runs the craft workshop was also very kind, as was the porter. All the staff were fantastic!

An absolutely wonderful travel experience! The staff were incredibly patient, and there were so many activities like photography and intangible cultural heritage experiences. The room facilities were excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang! Highly recommended!

This hotel is right in the old town, super close to Sifang Street and other attractions. It's also really quiet and safe at night, which I loved. I especially liked their courtyard, but what truly stood out was the incredible service. When my child needed to do homework, they immediately brought an extra desk to our room. One night, my child suddenly felt unwell – it was past midnight – and they arranged for a dedicated car and staff member to take us to the emergency room, staying with us until past 2 AM. The hotel also offers intangible cultural heritage experiences, laundry service, and a fantastic breakfast that runs until 12 PM, unlike other inns that close at 10 AM, only offering noodles or porridge. As someone who sleeps in, this was a lifesaver! They also provide afternoon tea and late-night snacks every day, and the courtyard is a safe place for kids to play. Highly recommended! Plus, a Naxi auntie even accompanied us to explore the Yunnan market!

The hotel is very close to the ancient city gate. There are people to help with luggage, so you don't have to drag your suitcases over the cobblestone streets yourself. Plus, the airport pick-up in a commercial van was absolutely amazing! My favorite part was that breakfast is served until noon, which is just perfect for those who like to sleep in! The room was very clean and tidy. Laundry service is also available, along with afternoon tea and late-night snacks. It's truly a peaceful retreat in the heart of the hustle and bustle. The experience for a relaxing vacation here is fantastic!
