The room was comfortable, the mattress was great, and the toiletries were nice. The environment was lovely; I wouldn't get bored even staying in all day. The butler service was also good. The only minor drawback was the breakfast, which had limited variety and an average taste.

The view is absolutely stunning, and the courtyard is huge, with its own cafe. The hygiene is also excellent. Five-star rating!

This is a super cozy and quiet garden guesthouse located inside the ancient city. It's really pleasant to sit and chat over tea in the courtyard. Right next door is an incredibly delicious restaurant that always has a queue. The only minor downside is that cars aren't allowed inside the ancient city, so you have to take the guesthouse's small buggy to get in. If you want to take a taxi to explore other places, you'll need to walk a few hundred meters to the entrance of the ancient city. This might be a slight inconvenience for those with mobility issues. Aside from that, everything else is absolutely fantastic!

I really enjoyed riding in the tuk-tuk driven by the butler (from a 9.5-year-old girl's review). The hotel's location is excellent, right inside the Old City. The two butler brothers came to pick up our luggage in their tuk-tuk. My sister found the bumpy ride over the cobblestone streets of the Old City hilarious, and she said she wants to ride in the 'flying car' again tomorrow. The hotel is also very quiet at night, and the public areas are incredibly spacious and pleasant to explore. Right next door is the Island & Coffee shop, which I absolutely loved. You can easily spend half a day there; it has a very Chiang Mai vibe. The hotel service was quite thoughtful. Since we checked in very late that night and couldn't enjoy the afternoon tea, they kindly allowed us to have it delivered to our room the next day. Thumbs up! 👍 The bathroom even has a smart toilet 🚽, and I really liked the scent of the body lotion. I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

A hotel within the ancient city walls. Someone helped with luggage transport. The afternoon tea was good, and the location was excellent. Lijiang has become excessively commercialized over the years. The traffic is awful; be careful when taking taxis as there are countless scams. During peak season, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is extremely crowded, so it's best to plan and book in advance. If you can't get tickets officially, joining a tour group is recommended. Tour groups cover everything but depart at 6 AM.

The staff were warm and friendly, offering pick-up and drop-off services throughout. “Crystal-clear waters, secluded trees, a chance dwelling, Fragrant tea and blooming flowers, seated in the front hall. Transient life, a dream, easily found good fortune, Laughter like immortals, worth more than gold.” Life is often too rushed; occasionally pausing to admire such scenery can be considered a delightful respite.
