The 8-bed male dorms are mostly for long-term stays. If you're lucky, you might get a bottom bunk. The top bunks are quite small, around 1.2 * 2 meters, making for an uncomfortable sleep. This is a significant difference compared to the newly renovated capsule beds in the female dorms.

Absolutely loved the two dogs, they were so adorable! My original plan was to stay for two days, but I extended it for another two just to spend more time with them. Lijiang is incredibly comfortable, I really didn't want to leave. The courtyard I stayed in was also super cozy and charming. I'd love to come back and visit the dogs again if I get the chance!

I had a super comfortable stay here. The owner is really nice, and there were a lot of people staying, so it was lively and easy to find companions. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lijiang.

Overall, the stay was decent. The location was quite convenient for getting around, not far from the old town on foot, and there were plenty of takeout options and small shops nearby. The room had all the basic amenities needed for a simple stopover and rest. The only downsides were the mediocre soundproofing; noises from the hallway and street were quite noticeable at night, and the bedding felt a bit itchy on the skin, which might affect light sleepers. Hot water supply was stable, and general hygiene was acceptable. The value for money was average for the area, making it suitable for budget travelers who mainly go out to explore and only use the hotel for sleeping. Those with high expectations for hotel facilities and sleep environment should consider other options carefully.

The environment was terrible, exactly as shown in my pictures. It looked nothing like the photos uploaded by the owner. The door to our six-person room wouldn't close properly and kept creaking. The toilet was covered in a thick layer of moss. We had to wash up on the terrace. Even at midnight, there were people drinking, chatting loudly, and bragging. There were also a lot of mosquitoes.

This is a fantastic hostel! The cleanliness is top-notch; rooms and common areas are cleaned daily. Each bunk bed has a curtain, providing a private space. All essential facilities are available: washing machines, hot water, and Wi-Fi are all working perfectly. The location is superb, making it easy to get to the Old Town and the bus station. The owner is friendly and reliable, always willing to share tips to avoid tourist traps. The hostel has a great atmosphere, making it easy to find travel companions. As a high school graduate traveling on a budget, the price was very friendly, and my overall stay was comfortable. Highly recommend to solo travelers visiting Lijiang.

The common areas have a relaxed vibe, perfect for solo travelers. It's excellent value for money; I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.
