Yueshang Mountain Viewing Courtyard

The location is good, right in the old town so it is very easy to walk around. You can communicate with the hosts using WeChat if you dont speak Chinese. The place is quite hard to find as it isn't accessible by car but the host met us when we arrived and helped us book a taxi when we left. You do have to walk for a few minutes up hill to reach a place where a taxi or didi can pick you up but this is common with most accommodation in the old town. We got a nice Chinese breakfast each morning. The accommodation was a bit more untidy and run down than I expected and the sound proofing (although expected to be not very good in an old building) was particularly bad as people were coming and going very loudly late at night. There is a washing machine available but no dryer so probabaly better to use a laundromat if you have alot of laundry to wash. This area of Lijiang is very easy to walk around and beautiful so the location is definitely a plus.

The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the area. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. They even helped carry our luggage, which we really appreciated. The only downside was the cleanliness. The room could have been cleaner, as there was dust and some trash under the bed. Other than that, everything was fine, and the friendly service made the stay more enjoyable.

Cozy room with a comfortable bed, overlooking a pretty courtyard. The location is ideal — plenty to see and do nearby. Friendly hosts, and the traditional breakfast was good. Recommended.

Really beautiful view of the town and a very comfortable layout of the room itself. The manager was really communicative and helped me to arrange some activities during my time.

We enjoyed the stay to the fullest. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. As soon as we arrived, he served us with hot tea and organic peaches. He gave us tips on the area, and he knew the best deals. The hotel was clean, and the view was amazing. The hotel was located not too far from the entrance of Ancient City, which made it easy to walk to. He also gave us a free room upgrade, which had a great view of the scenery. Other than that, he helped book us a ride back to the train station at a much cheaper rate. I would definitely recommend this place to others 😁
