Large hotel inside the old town popular with large foreign tour groups. Breakfast selection limited, can be very busy at peak time.

Very beautiful, but there was a renovation smell in October. The location is a bit off the main street, but it's quiet. People are always taking photos outside. Breakfast was just okay, but edible. Overall, it was great. The Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles were absolutely delicious!

The most delightful surprise of my Lijiang trip was discovering this hidden gem of a hotel, tucked away deep within the ancient town! **Excellent Location**: Situated right in the heart of Dayan Ancient Town, it's just an 8-minute walk to Sifang Street, yet cleverly tucked away from the main street's hustle and bustle. Each time you step out or return, you'll wander along quaint cobblestone paths and past small bridges over flowing streams, truly achieving that perfect balance of vibrant charm outside and peaceful serenity within. **Cultural Immersion**: The traditional Naxi courtyard, with its impressive three-tiered layout, is absolutely stunning! From intricately carved doors and windows and scenic shadow walls with water features to eaves adorned with Dongba wind chimes, every corner is rich with exquisite ethnic aesthetic details. **Guest Room Experience**: The entire room is comfortably carpeted, providing a soft and inviting feel, and the in-room amenities and facilities are top-notch. **Important Notes**: 1. As the hotel is located within the ancient town's protected area, vehicles cannot reach the entrance directly. A 200-meter walk along a cobblestone path is required (but don't worry, staff will assist with luggage transport via tricycle). 2. Given its traditional wooden structure, sound insulation is somewhat limited. We recommend choosing a courtyard room located deeper within the property for maximum tranquility.

The service was incredibly thoughtful. Cleanliness was spotless, and the ambiance was beautiful. The facilities had a wonderful ancient charm. Located right in the old city, it offered a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. The complimentary coffee was delicious! They even helped carry our luggage, which was very considerate and helped protect our bags. Overall, the service was fantastic.

This was a fantastic stay! The hotel boasts a superb location, housed in a traditional Naxi courtyard, offering a truly unique experience compared to standard hotels. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive; check-in was efficient, and they even thoughtfully upgraded my room. The room itself was spacious and bright, with wonderfully soft and comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing that guaranteed a peaceful night's rest. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious Chinese and Western dishes. A special shout-out to the housekeeping staff who diligently cleaned my room every day and even helped organize my belongings. The WiFi was fast, and the well-equipped business facilities made it super convenient for business travelers. They even presented a small gift upon check-out – truly excellent attention to detail! This hotel offers outstanding value for money! I will absolutely choose it again for my next business trip or vacation, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends! And the hotel's 'Crossing the Bridge Noodles' (Guoqiao Mixian) for lunch were also fantastic!

The room was clean. The restaurant offered a lovely spot to simply unwind and enjoy my own pace. Evenings were also wonderfully quiet.

I booked this room for a friend. The hotel is conveniently located near the high-speed rail station, about a 25-minute drive away. Since it's situated within the ancient town, regular vehicles can't drive directly to the entrance. However, the hotel is very thoughtful and provides a dedicated shuttle service within the ancient town to pick up and drop off guests right at the hotel 👍👍👍. The hotel has recently been renovated, so it's very clean and hygienic, and the service is excellent. The breakfast spread is also quite plentiful. On the ground floor, there's a restaurant where you can enjoy tea and meals. For anyone planning to visit Lijiang Old Town, I highly recommend this hotel!

The location is excellent, really easy to find and right within the ancient city, which made exploring local eateries and shops incredibly convenient. The front desk staff provided excellent service, and the hotel was very clean. It was also a nice touch that we could order coffee at the hotel. Before we went out, the front desk even offered great recommendations for food and activities. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone!

Really nice. It's a large courtyard with a unique ethnic style, giving it a very authentic local vibe. Situated right within the old town, it's super easy to step out and explore. It's just a few minutes from the South Gate, with easy access to transport, yet it offers a quiet haven amidst the bustle. The restaurant's location is excellent, allowing you to really soak in the atmosphere of the ancient city.

The hotel features a traditional architectural style. The rooms are spotless, well-equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out processes were seamless and efficient.

Staying at the Wangfu Hotel was the biggest pleasant surprise of our trip. It truly exudes an antique charm, with beautifully carved wooden windows in the corridors. Outside, the windows frame picturesque Naxi buildings, arranged with a pleasing, natural asymmetry. These structures beautifully embody the unique Naxi residential architectural characteristics like 'Sanfang Yizhaobi' (three rooms, one screen wall), 'Zouma Zhuanjiaolou' (running horse corner building), and 'Sihe Wutianjing' (four courtyards, five patios), seamlessly weaving Lijiang's classical beauty and poetic essence into the very fabric of your stay. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile. The upgraded suite was absolutely perfect. Given the exceptional value for money this five-star hotel offers, I'm genuinely baffled by its surprisingly low rating.

An absolutely fantastic, courtyard-style hotel. It's located within the old town and is very quiet. It appears to have been recently refurbished, and the facilities and amenities are all excellent. My friends and family absolutely loved it. Next time I visit Lijiang, I will definitely choose Wangfu Hotel again.
