Guanfang Hotel (Lijiang Old Town )

This is a well-established five-star hotel with an excellent location and great service. I highly recommend it, especially for the revolving restaurant on the top floor which offers stunning panoramic views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Lijiang.

The room was clean and tidy, the service was warm and attentive, and the environment was excellent. The location is great, with direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the rooftop. The breakfast had a good variety, and the free swimming pool was a bonus. Definitely five-star worthy!

First time staying here. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were quite good. The hotel is very large, and there's a revolving restaurant on the top floor with great views of the entire city of Lijiang. It's also not far from the Old Town, which is a big plus.

Pretty good! The front desk manager was incredibly helpful. We were exhausted after climbing the snowy mountain, and they even helped us with our luggage, which was very thoughtful.

Great views and a fantastic breakfast. The only downsides were the noisy air conditioner and a clogged toilet.

The view was great, with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain clearly visible in the morning with hardly any clouds. The rice noodles for breakfast were excellent. The bed was a little on the firm side. The facilities were complete, though they are quite old and could use a renovation.

First off, the key card system at the entrance is a hassle. You can't just leave the card in; you have to insert it correctly and immediately pull it out, otherwise the door won't open. The hotel facilities are quite old, and the Wi-Fi is poor – it's a public network shared by all rooms, worse than university campus Wi-Fi. The hairdryer is ancient, looks like a vacuum cleaner, and it was broken. The AC in the room is weak, and it gets stuffy if you don't open a window. Breakfast was okay though, with a good variety.

This hotel offers great value for money, and it's very close to the old town, just a short walk away. The room was clean and tidy, and the stay included a fantastic breakfast. Definitely a recommended hotel!

The hotel is the tallest building in Lijiang, offering great room views overlooking the entire city and a distant view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Although the facilities are a bit dated, they are clean and tidy, and the breakfast is good.
