This Vienna Hotel in Lijiang Old Town has an excellent location, right opposite the entrance to the Big Waterwheel, making it super convenient to get into the Old Town. Taxis, buses, and dedicated shuttles to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain are also available just across the street. The hotel entrance is right out of Exit 9 of the underground passage. Perhaps because it was the off-season, my room was upgraded for free. It was clean and tidy, and as a brand chain, you can't go wrong here – a very reassuring stay.

The rooms are spotless, and the amenities are excellent. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Parking is super convenient, and it's very close to the North Gate of the Ancient City.

The hotel's location is superb; it's right by the old town, surrounded by lively areas, and easy to catch a taxi. We were upgraded to a very quiet room. Although there's no elevator, staff helped carry our luggage to the door. It's so convenient for getting around that we extended our stay for two more nights. It's super convenient for getting back after exploring the Old Town in the evening. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out. Very close to Dali Ancient Town, just a short walk away. The front desk staff was really kind and enthusiastic. They even gave us little gifts like hand cream, a small umbrella, and a mini fan, which were all very practical!
