Four Seasons Courtyard is absolutely a hidden gem in Lijiang Old Town, truly one of a kind! Its location is superb, situated on the upper section of Wuyi Street Xingren, not far from the Old Town Police Station. Navigation is spot-on and easy to find. It's just a 3-minute walk from Sifang Street, and only 10 minutes to Zhongyi Market for a morning stroll – getting around is so convenient you don't even need to plan your routes. But what's truly remarkable is finding such a tranquil environment in the heart of the Old Town. The guesthouse spans over 2000 square meters with a spacious courtyard and lush greenery. Thanks to special soundproofing, you can't hear any outside noise in the rooms. At night, it's so quiet you can only hear the sound of wind rustling through the leaves – a blessing for light sleepers. The decor is my absolute favorite, a Naxi garden style. The handmade old wooden furniture has a wonderful texture, and the carved windows, antique lighting, and abundant plants and flowers create a perfect blend of traditional folk house simplicity and elegance with the refreshing charm of a garden landscape. Every public area, from the tea room to the observation deck and music café, is tastefully designed. Reading, daydreaming, having tea, and chatting here make time slow down beautifully. The service is incredibly heartwarming. We enjoyed complimentary airport pickup for our 3-night stay; the butler communicated our flight details in advance, and the driver was already waiting when we landed, ensuring a seamless transfer. The butler promptly responded to all our needs during our stay. When I forgot my charger, the front desk immediately provided a universal one. When we wanted to try local food, the butler recommended some authentic, non-touristy restaurants. They even helped store our luggage and printed our itinerary for free when we left, and thoughtfully prepared a farewell gift. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding from Mercury Home Textiles. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, 24-hour hot water with stable pressure, and branded toiletries that felt great to use. During my days here, I experienced not just high-quality accommodation but also a family-like warmth. I've already recommended it to all my friends visiting Lijiang. It's definitely worth repeat visits!

My stay at Sifuyashe was absolutely perfect, hands down the best guesthouse in Lijiang Old Town! The location is superb, right in the heart of Wuyi Street, which is the most vibrant and lively area of the Old Town. It’s a 3-minute walk to Sifang Street, with tons of restaurants, bars, and unique shops all around – you step out and instantly feel immersed in the lively atmosphere. Yet, it’s also a peaceful oasis. The guesthouse is surrounded by lush greenery and traditional Naxi architecture, with a secluded courtyard that blocks out all the external noise. Entering the guesthouse feels like stepping into a tranquil paradise; it’s so quiet at night you can hear yourself breathe, allowing your mind and body to completely relax. The decor is elegantly tasteful, seamlessly blending traditional Naxi architecture with beautiful garden landscapes. There are seven distinct courtyards, with a babbling brook, winding boardwalks, and vibrant bougainvillea accentuating the blue-tiled roofs and white walls, giving it an ancient yet lively feel. The furnishings in the rooms are incredibly well-crafted, featuring handmade solid wood carved beds, intricately carved windows, and antique-style lighting. Each piece of furniture exudes a sense of history, complemented by soft lighting and a subtle incense aroma, creating a warm and refined ambiance that combines the charm of a traditional inn with the comfort of a modern hotel. The service was impeccable from start to finish. From booking to check-out, we received attentive care throughout. For our 5-night stay, we enjoyed complimentary airport transfers. The housekeeper communicated our itinerary in advance, ensuring a seamless pick-up upon arrival. When we checked in, we were greeted with warm tea and fruit, and a detailed introduction to the guesthouse’s facilities and services. They even customized a personalized itinerary for us, recommending off-the-beaten-path attractions that were less crowded but equally beautiful, helping us avoid the typical tourist crush. The housekeeper also helped us book tickets for Naxi ancient music performances and provided discount cards for popular bars, making our trip even more enriching. Room amenities were comprehensive, with soft and comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. High-end features like a Kohler smart toilet, white goose down duvet, and latex pillows are comparable to a five-star hotel. Hot water was plentiful 24/7 with stable pressure, and the toiletries were all high-quality, providing a great experience. Every day of our stay here was incredibly comfortable, feeling like we had a temporary home in Lijiang. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all friends visiting Lijiang!

They also managed to get us front-row seats for the 'Impression Lijiang' show, and the performance was absolutely spectacular. During our stay, we tried a Pu'er tea DIY experience; the tea cakes we made ourselves became the best souvenirs, full of ritual and meaning. The tea shop they took us to was a local old brand, and the Pu'er tea I bought there has a rich aroma and a lasting sweet aftertaste. I feel so happy brewing and drinking it every day now. I've already recommended this guesthouse to my colleagues!

This guesthouse completely redefined 'attentive' for me! Upon check-in, the staff offered hot towels and tea, and even helped us check our power bank's battery level. They made booking Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tickets incredibly easy, even marking out the touring route for Blue Moon Valley. The tickets for 'Impression Lijiang' were also cheaper than buying them ourselves, and the seats had an excellent view. The staff were always smiling and recommended snack places that had authentic and affordable food. The Pu'er tea DIY experience was fantastic; not only could we make our own tea, but we also learned about the Pu'er making process. The tea shop they took us to was run by local tea farmers. The Pu'er I bought has an amazing aroma and a long-lasting aftertaste. Drinking it every day now brings me so much joy. This guesthouse is definitely worth coming back to again and again!

They also helped us secure middle-row seats for the 'Impression Lijiang' show, which gave us an amazing view. The Pu'er tea DIY experience was fantastic – we participated in the whole process from 'killing greens' to pressing the cakes, learning so much along the way. We even got to take our finished tea home, which was incredibly satisfying. Following their recommendations, we bought some really great value Pu'er teas at prices much lower than those in tourist areas. The packaging was also very elegant, perfect for gifts or personal use. Who wouldn't love a guesthouse like this!

The hotel is located inside the ancient town, and the staff were very thoughtful, picking us up outside the town. They also arranged for our luggage to be delivered to the hotel. Once we arrived, it was like stepping into a hidden paradise with beautiful flowers, plants, and fish. The environment was elegant, and the courtyard was quite spacious. My kids kept exclaiming that it felt like home. The experience was absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely stay here again if we have the chance and will recommend it to friends and family visiting Lijiang. 👏👏👏
