Days Hotel by Wyndham Lijiang Gucheng

The room was very clean and cozy. The lobby staff were really welcoming and the service was excellent. Having free parking and a laundry room was super convenient. The breakfast spread was quite good, and my kids loved it. The weather was fantastic during our stay, sunny every day, and we even got to see the sunset in the evenings!

Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Spotless. Ambiance: Beautiful. Service: Warm and welcoming. Will definitely stay at this hotel again next time! 👍👍👍

This hotel is in a great location, right in the city center and close to the Old Town. Plus, there are shared electric scooters right outside, making it super convenient to get around. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, the rooms were very clean, and the breakfast had a great variety. It's really hard to find a hotel with such high value for money in Lijiang; this is the best one I've stayed at.

The hotel is split into two buildings, A and B, with the gym and laundry room in a separate, enclosed area like a large courtyard. The front desk is in building B. Although there's a phone in the room, there's no information provided at check-in or in the room about the front desk's extension number, which is a minor inconvenience. Also, on the day I stayed, there wasn't enough hot water. When I checked out and asked the front desk about it, they just casually mentioned that a colleague found a broken pipe, without any inquiry about whether it caused me any trouble. Overall, the environment and room are decent, but the service definitely needs improvement.

Chose this hotel purely for its location near the commercial district, and it didn't disappoint! It's a 3-minute walk to the shopping center, which was perfect for a leisurely stroll back in the evenings. The room was spotless, the bed was just the right firmness, and the spacious vanity with a separate wet/dry area was really practical. The front desk staff even gave helpful recommendations for popular nearby restaurants. The service was thoughtful, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth a stay!
