Lijiang Ancient City IAN Pinshu (Big Watermill Store)

The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay, always available 24/7 to assist with anything we needed, which made us feel well taken care of. The location is also a big plus—just a short and pleasant walk to the ancient city, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring. However, one area that could definitely be improved is the condition of the rooms. While they were clean and functional, they felt a bit dated and in need of refurbishment to match the level of service and location. With some updates, this place has great potential to be even better.

The room looks luxury. The staff is very nice. Prepare the bag of breakfast for us since we have to leave the hotel at 6.00 am.

Overall a good hotel. Great location close to the ancient city center. Beautiful rooms, clean and large. However, i booked the hotel specifically for the swimming pool, which was not well maintained, containing a lot of algea. Personnel is very friendly and helpful, but serving of breakfast was always a bit messy. Overall i would recommend staying at this hotel.

This is a great property with interesting modernist architecture and a great view of the Jade Mountain (weather permitting). The bar offered a limited selection of liquor, beer, and coffee. Rooms came with bottled water and clean sandals. It is a short walk up a hill from the north gate of Lijiang Ancient City. There is a nice coffee shop across the parking lot. Staff service was excellent, good communication (despite limited English) via WeChat before and during the stay. They helped arrange drivers for me. The main downside was that the pool had a lot of algae growing in it. I was still willing to go in, but it wouldn't have been suitable for kids.
