The hygiene and environment were both pretty good, but there was a large bucket with half a bucket of dirty water in the corner of the room. I reported it to the front desk on the first day, but it was still there on the third day and was never taken care of.

Having followed Backpacking for 10 years, I've always wanted to experience it, and this time when I came to Lijiang, this was my first choice. It's located in Shuhe Ancient Town, which is convenient for visiting both the ancient town and other areas. Taxis can drop you right at the alley entrance, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The guesthouse's decor is thoughtfully designed, and they even have evening activities like music parties and movie nights. Whether you prefer a lively atmosphere or a quiet one, you'll find it satisfying here.

This hostel definitely lives up to its reputation! The environment is clean, facilities are complete, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It's also conveniently located for exploring Shuhe Ancient Town. It's perfect for solo travelers, I had a great stay and highly recommend it.

The service was great! The staff at the front desk were very patient and thorough in explaining everything. My roommates last night were also fantastic; I slept like a baby, haha. It was such a good feeling!

It's incredibly impressive and rare to see a hostel operating on such a large scale. You can tell from the design of every corner that Xiao Peng (the owner/designer) put a lot of thought and effort into it back in the day. I also found great travel buddies at the hostel.

Ever since my first stay at Lijiang Backpacker Ten Years Hostel in 2023, it's become my go-to whenever I travel – I always check if there's a Backpacker Ten Years at my destination. I've stayed at the Xi'an and Chongqing branches, but the Lijiang flagship is still my absolute favorite. The common facilities and the vibe are just amazing, and they have a great variety of room types, all clean and hygienic! The breakfast and dinner are also incredibly delicious! Hope they can keep up the excellent work!

I stayed for a week and made a lot of good friends. The atmosphere was great, so I wasn't lonely even traveling alone. The bed was really comfortable too! My only suggestion would be to improve the cleanliness a bit. It felt like the cleaning staff didn't come around much, and the floor was still a bit dirty.

The room was very clean, and the front desk staff, especially Dawang, provided excellent service. The backpacker atmosphere was fantastic, with travelers from all over the world. We had a great time playing and chatting together, an experience you just don't get at other hotels.
