The accomodation, staff and facilities were fine but this is not in a safe area of Lima. The accomodation itself is secure with two security gates so we felt safe inside but solo or female travellers should be careful in this area.

Very clean, great service, close to within walking distance to Lima’s Plaza de Armas but not a so great neighborhood.

Very basic accommodation close to the center. The area is a bit sketchy and is not completely safe especially at night. The hotel has a gate and reception works 24/7 but one have to ring a bell to get inside and everyone can hear it because the walls are thin. The rooms are very basic, even for a relatively low price. Personal is very attentive and helpful, though. I’m sum, I would recommend to stay here only if one need to be close to the old center.

El establecimiento es ideal y centrico a pocos minutos del centro de la ciudad. La habitacion es muy comoda, limpia y basica en todo lo que necesites para 1 o 2 noches de estadia. La familia que conforma el personal de la quinta de Amat muy simpaticos y siempre dispuestos a atender cualquier solicitud. Siempre volvemos como en casa , recomendado !
