We had a brilliant stay at Limerick City Hotel in room 601. The setup has a lovely bit of quirky charm: the lift only goes to the 5th floor, so you take a short flight of stairs up to the 6th, which has just 6 rooms in total. We found that hilarious, and having so few rooms up top made it nice and quiet. The view was spectacular, looking directly over the River Shannon (see our photos), and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight. We were given a 5 euro discount coupon, which brought the price down to just 11 euros. The hot full Irish breakfast was massive and absolutely delicious, accompanied by tea, coffee, fruit juices, and a great cold buffet selection. Highly recommended for a comfortable, characterful stay right on the waterfront.

great location in the center of the city, room was clean, however the parking was ackward with difficult signs to guide one to the hotel from the structure. other than that great place to venture around and eat at nice cafes and shops. had a great time. thank you

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

The only thing that affected my experience is that in the room there was no smart TV in room 309.So that means we couldn't not Netflix as we planned.Beside that everything was great.

Wouldn’t recommend. Apart from construction in the building, the staff showed no consideration and would regularly bang a service door into my door. I spent more time out of this hotel than in it.

Very poor. Couldn't adjust temperature in the shower as it was falling off the wall, so it was too hot to take a shower. Toilet seat broken. There was no glass to rinse after brushing teeth . The room was not clean.People living in the hotel and kids' bikes and scooters everywhere. Not a great stay at all .
