Like all Ibis hotels. Small and cosy. Located more or less in the centre. Many good eateries just outside the hotel. And within 10 minutes walking distance of Montjovis and Benedictins stations. Was there for 2 nights and no complaints. The lift to go up is really small, I hear one person complaining about it being like a coffin.

Although Limoges is not a tourist city, we also stopped temporarily on the way to Lyon, but the city still gave us many surprises. Mercure’s hardware and software are good, the design is very modern, and the hotel facilities are relatively new. The rooms are definitely relatively large in Europe. The hotel is not far from the old city. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the most famous butcher shop street in the old city. It takes about 12-13 minutes to walk to Saint-Etienne Cathedral. There is a Chinese restaurant called Au Panda in Limoges. I talked directly with the owner and his wife what they wanted to eat, and the taste was quite good. They are famous for their hot pot, and they also have stir-fried dishes, which are much better than those foolish Chinese buffets!
This former private residence of the 1930s is ideally situated between the two pedestrian historical areas in the town centre. The Best Western Plus® Richelieu is in the elegant area of the town hall, nearby the multimedia library, various administrative and university head offices and the faculty of law.

We propose a business centre with free Wi-Fi Internet access, a bar in the lobby and 24 hour room service, as well as both indoor and outdoor private car parks.
Limoges is the capital of the arts of fire, combining tradition and ultra modern technologies, is also a historical town offering a wide variety of historical sites. The Adrien Dubouche National Museum of porcelain, the Eveche enamel museum, the Craftsmanship museum, the porcelain manufacturers and various gardens are not to be missed. Enjoy your stay.

Hotel on the main road - you can pay for parking but I didn't and managed to find parking on the Main Street. Turned out I hadn't paid for breakfast, and it costs 15 Euros each day for it. I got it on the last morning because I had al one drive that day. Hotel was fine, but operating the shower was odd. There was a carry out next to the hotel for anyone who does not want to pay the cost of staying here. I had a problem when checking out because the hotel wanted to charge me 15 Euros for breakfast every day even thought I had only had it for the last day, which was a discrepancy of 45 Euros. However, after some discussion with the translation app, I got the cost removed. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay and given that it was on a main road, it was quiet. One good thing about this was that I left an expensive jacket at the hotel when I left. I was unaware until I was miles away and they phoned me to inform me. When I got back to England I contacted them and made arrangements for them to send it to me. Took about 10 days but I received it. Really pleased with the service for this because the jacket was expensive.

Located across from the train station and not far from the cathedral, this was a good hotel for a stopover while traveling. The neighborhood is so-so, but the location is convenient and the hotel itself was very good. Staff were excellent. For parking, there are spots usually on the same street - paid spaces during the day then free at night. There's a spa and pool w/sauna and stream room as well - payable by the hour at the hotel. Both were very clean and nice. Pool towels provided once you go inside the pool area. Rooms were nice, it's worth paying extra for a bigger room. Breakfast was fine as well. Good wifi signal throughout the hotel. A good stay while passing through.

Never been a fan of hotel chains, especially in large multiple properties such as the Accor group. Ibis style in Limoges changed my mind. Axel and his young colleagues were welcoming and our room in this tastefully converted old factory spotless. € 100 might seem a bit steep for one night in a ‘budget’ hotel, but taking in to account the extensive buffet breakfast (continually restocked ,tidied and cleaned by a very hard working lady. Bravo!) the price seems reasonable. Limoges is not the most attractive of places( Ok, I’m spoilt,I come from Bourges) and in the constant April rain even less so, making our stay in this chain hotel probably the high spot!

Three of us stayed in a large studio big enough for 4. It was well equipped and comfortable and despite having no air conditioning, a fan was provided and shutters kept the room cool. We only had one night as part of a long journey but the kitchen area is definitely good enough for a self catering break. Given the weather, a balcony would have been nice but there are lots of benches to sit on by the river. Parking has secure access so definitely worth paying for as there as little parking on the street outside. Continental breakfast was fine with a nice little outdoor terrace. You can walk along a lovely river path into Limoges in about 25 minutes. It's a nice town, but try to avoid Mondays! It was our only day there and most shops and restaurants were closed!

We chose this hotel as we were picking up friends from the airport early the next morning. It was one of the few hotels in the area where the restaurant was open on a Monday evening. As it was our wedding anniversary (possibly our last as I have stage 4 cancer) we had hoped for a decent meal and a good bottle of wine. We didn't have high expectations but we had not anticipated such a terrible experience. We arrived in the restaurant and were told to wait on the terrace for a member of staff to show us to a table. We did as instructed (or at least my wife did, as I can't be out in the sun during my chemotherapy treatment). After 10 minutes or so, we were eventually seated inside. Absolutely nobody smiled, or seemed pleased to have us as customers. We ordered an aperitif and were told we must order the wine at this point too, and the waitress would come back to take our food order, which seemed a little strange to us. Almost half an hour later, the waitress returned to take our food order. It wasn't even very busy, and we were the only diners indoors at this stage. We ordered our starters and we had been looking forward to sharing a côte de boeuf for the main course. We were told that it wasn't available on this particular evening, so the waitress handed us back the menus to choose something else and we asked for a couple of minutes to reconsider. When she came back 20 minutes later, we both ordered the entrecôte. After what seemed like another long wait, a different waitress arrived at our table with the two entrecôtes! Where was our starter, we asked, but she had no idea. So we ordered again. When the hastily prepared starter arrived a few minutes later, we told them that we didn't want the same two steaks to come back to the table reheated, but it turns out that was exactly what they were planning to do as they told us that they were the last two entrecôtes. In a steak restaurant? Seriously? The only apology we received was from the junior waitress who explained that her colleague had forgotten the starter. Everyone else we complained to was utterly indifferent. We were asked to choose something else from the menu but by this time we had lost all confidence in both the waiting staff and the kitchen, so we took our bottle of wine back to our room. Thankfully we were only charged for the drinks. Here is a hotel striving to be average and utterly failing to reach that target. There is probably a good reason why all their staff appear so miserable.

We have stayed here several times this year. Blague 1: Having tried various items from the particularily uninspiring plain typed sheet ‘menu’ we are convinced the kitchen cannot cook so we are resigned to just having the burger each time. Blague 2: We both ordered the ‘chicken burger’ (authentic French). My wife’s duly arrived but nothing for me. Five minutes later mine arrived with no apology but cold fries (what is going on in the kitchen). Blague 3: the maitre d’ three months ago was a complete novice who tried to open a bottle of champagne with a corkscrew😁 now he’s in charge he cannot see the customer failure of serving a table at different times. When I said “C’est une blague” he said it wasn’t Blague 4: the €17.50 chicken burger was three chicken nuggets. Blague 5: the offered cheese ‘Tome’ was the oldest crustiest cheese imaginable. Clearly offloading old stock. I do long for the Novotels that we have used and enjoyed for years; this is a joke but I guess you have worked that out.

Excellent
I have to say overall this is a very good hotel which i have stayed at many times. I requested a calm room & was initially offered room 310. As soon as we walked in the smell of fried food was terrible also the fan for the air con did not switch off which meant we had to change rooms first to the 5th floor & was then told sorry can't use that it will be the 4th floor. This hotel seems to lack staff to cope with such events. We had a meal next door which is no longer La Boucherie & as such has less choice. I ordered a glass of wine which was adequate but the refill was half the size. My reaction to this was met by a rude waitress. Breakfast is not worth the money if you are looking for any hot food. Gone are the lovely scrambled eggs & bacon for a dried omelet & frankfurter. Not the best experience this time.
We made a very last minute booking at La Loge Gogaille and we were delightfully surprised by a beautiful home away from home in Limoges. The hotel is beautiful outside as well as inside. The decor is very tasteful and cleanliness is top notch. The hotel operates on a B&B basis with an express delicious cafe+croissant breakfast. I must say that the croissant was exceptional. If you are visiting Limoges and want to stay in a special place, Gogaille is definitely a place worth trying. We are planning to try the Gogaille restaurant next time we are in Limoges. If the restaurant is as high quality as the hotel, I'm sure it will be a feast for our taste buds.
GGuest UserHotel as an intermediate stop on the way to the Pyrenees. It is quickly and easily accessible from the continuous motorway. Booked with 'Christmas offer' but also without this offer excellent price-quality! Quick check-in, friendly reception. Prima location also for visiting the city of Limoges and near the beautiful station ('one of the most beautiful train stations in the world'! ). We had a four-person room, this was very spacious and provided with basic facilities. Parking can (for €6,- per day) in the parking garage below the hotel. This is a little tight, but good to do (max. height about 2.10m) and easy to reach. Direct connection with lift to the floors. Breakfast has enough choice and quality is OK.
GGuest UserGood quality of service and room. We appreciate mostly the beds ! A nice place to be for business or with family in Limoges. We appreciate also the employees, very kind. We would return there with pleasure.
