Ski in/out on a mountain that does not have much of this at all. This is the good point. The bad is a long list…old facilities, lack of staff, poor hvac (hot or cold no middle), hot tub for 4 in a hotel with hundreds, meals get worse each year…I feel for them, as owners would have to get hit with an assessment to improve and I would guess lot of older owners who think is fine and don’t go to other mountains and would never approve.

We chose to book with the Mountain Club on Loon because of the reviews. Also, because it was advertised as providing a food voucher. It did not specify on the website that the voucher needs to be charged to the room. The room we stayed in was not clean. We had to call housekeeping to clean the bathroom that had hair all over the bathroom floor. In addition, there was food on the floor under the table and in the chair. We do understand that it is the off season, but this is unacceptable.

Fantastic! We have been going to Loon Mountain Club since 1998 when we were married at the small waterfall behind the resort. Usually right after labor day. The setting, the staff, the food, all excellent. Take the gondola for a fantastic panorama of the surrounding mountains or lounge by the pool if you're there during the warmer months. Located near several popular white mountain attractions, it really is a fantastic place to stay!

Very Nice Hotel. Staff was so very pleased to have us stay with them. We were surprised that our room was more of a timeshare accommodation with a full kitchen. Two murphy beds and lots of space. Stayed two nights on a group tour of the White Mountains.

This hotel has a lot of different room styles to choose from. We got a suite style room, but it was oddly laid out. It was actually two rooms joined together. It had an outer door that led into a small hallway. Each side of the hallway had another door. Both of these doors had locks. On one side was a king bed room with a patio and a bathroom. The other side had a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and two murphy beds (one was queen size, the other was double bed size). Our kids slept in the murphy beds, but unfortunately had access to a kitchen and the ability to lock us out of the room and be completely unsupervised. That is not optimal and was not disclosed upon booking. We were given vouchers for breakfasts and a $50 spa voucher. We were told that kids eat free. However, when arriving at the restaurant in the morning we found out that kids do not eat free, and you can only use the voucher if you charge the meal to your room. Also at dinner kids again do not eat free, must eat from a dinner buffet in another room, while parents order off of a menu and everything must be charged to the room. We found the whole thing to be a bit of a scam, and chose to eat elsewhere. The parking was odd with multiple levels and it was challenging to find a spot that was accessible for the elevator. Instructions for the way to get into the parking for one of the levels wasn't given.

We stayed at the resort as part of a promotional event with a resorts corporate partner. The staff was very friendly and we had no issues with any accommodation. I had upgraded our room to a two room suite so my 17 year old had his own area to stay up late (video games) and not interfere with us grownups. If he were younger, the standard room with the murphy beds would have work out well. The standard room was quit large and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals on site. The additional room was large and had a balcony overlooking the pool area. The bathrooms were fairly large in both rooms. I drive a pickup ruck and the parking garage was a little tight, but I managed. Overall a great experience that fit our vacation budget.

Two murphy beds in the room. Tight quarters but comfortable. Great breakfast buffet and friendly staff! Convenient to everything we wanted to visit and do. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, great game room also. Don't miss the puzzles on the wall!

I’ve been coming here since the 80s, and it gets better and better with time. This resort has the absolute best staff around. My favorite is Ed at the front desk. He is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. Provided recommendations to us of things to do on the resort and locally when there was going to be a parade. And how to get around it! The food, probably the best restaurant food in the area. The package we get provides a three course dinner for two, a $50 spa coupon, and an amazing breakfast every day. Fitness center on site, gondola, indoor outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. Amazing activities at the adventure center. At night, they set up an outdoor movie screen and played lion king, which my niece loved! Better rates than any hotel around for what you get. Highly recommend!

A nice timeshare resort. We had a 1 bedroom which is really a 2 room lockout with 1 side with king bed and other side a small kitchen living area with 2 Murphy beds. Furniture is outdated but functional. Kitchen and refrigerator is small. We bring our own cooking utensils and pans which we had to use. There were 2 maintenance issues but the staff responded quickly to fix them. Resort amenities were only open on the weekends until mid June. Local area is a hiking paradise. Nearest grocery store is about 2 miles at Price Chopper. A few good restaurants in the area available.
