"1 overnight at the Cod Cove Inn, will go back when we can. Only complaint is that a mat inside the room door would have helped keep the dirt & snow from the carpet. Felt badly for whoever had to clean our room."

Scott and I live in the main part of the house. Rental space is a private wing of the house. 224 Birch Point Rd adjoins a heavily wooded area at the top of a ravine that leads to Cushman Cove, part of the Back River. There are 1 1/4 acres with no neighbors on either side and the wooded ravine to the rear. The suite w/private entrance is a 1st floor wing of the house. The room has been upgraded for a comfy stay. You'll fade into sleep easily on the king-size bed and pillows. 100% spring/summer cotton bed linen. Linen Duvet cover and comforter(fall/winter). Extra blankets can be found in the wardrobe.The cherry wardrobe is equipped with drawers and shelving and there's a hang bar on the side of the wardrobe fit with wood hangers. Organic cotton and/or linen bed linens, beautiful wide- plank flooring, an intimate dining area by the window, microwave, refrigerator with freezer along with dishes, bowls, glasses, flatware and utensils. There is an electric water kettle for pour over coffee and tea (#2 filters provided). We will provide a complimentary starter tray of coffee, creamer (real half and half in individual sized bottles!), an assortment of black and herbal teas, water, protein bars and snacks, paper towels, toilet paper, and 100% cotton bath towels, including 2 beach towels. Enjoy the serenity of watching working lobster boats, bald eagles, low-flying osprey, and harbor seals on the incredible Sheepscot River.
The private dock is great for kayaking, boating, and casting a line on the Sheepscopt and Back Rivers.
Play yard/board games or just relax on the deck, screen porch, and hammock.
Smart TV in every bedroom and family room as well as WIFI (high speed 1Gbps mesh network) throughout the property.

We have 3 cottages overlooking the pond and in close proximity to one another, making the property perfect group bookings. Host a wedding party or rent all three for a family reunion. Enjoy the classic, approx. 850 sq. ft. bright & airy cottage. The Chickadee features cathedral ceilings, with 3 skylights, providing beautiful natural light, shiplap walls and ceilings. with all the comforts of new construction; to include tankless water heater, heat & air conditioning, plus great proximity to all that Pemaquid Peninsula has to offer. We have 3 cottages all nestled on a wooded knoll, overlooking our pond. The pond draws an abundance of wildlife but not conducive to swimming or fishing.
This cottage just received a major upgrade, to a include a first floor King bedroom, while retaining the Queen bed in loft and 1st floor bunk room. The Chickadee (Cottage #3) differs from the other two cottages, with 2 first floor bedrooms. The first bedroom includes a King bed very closet. The bunk room is stunning, with 2 craftsman built-in bunk beds and walk up steps in between. Very appropriate for adults as well as children. The kitchenette/living space is a bit larger and boasts an open floor plan with soaring ceiling. The bathroom is on-suite with the bunk room, immediately net to King room and accessible through the living area. The stand up loft is a multi use space with desk and Queen bed.
All 3 cottages are nestled on a beautiful knoll amongst the trees. You'll enjoy the peaceful porch overlooking the pond and field, where you can enjoy the wildlife that abounds on this property. This private, bucolic place is pure peace and relaxation. We, the owners, live on property and are so excited to share our dream come true. We provide linens to include bedding and 2 sets of towels per person and will be readily available to insure your stay meets all your expectations.

Enjoy the classic, approx. 850 sq. ft. bright & airy cottage. The Chickadee features cathedral ceilings, with 3 skylights, providing beautiful natural light, shiplap walls and ceilings. with all the comforts of new construction; to include tankless water heater, heat & air conditioning, plus great proximity to all that Pemaquid Peninsula has to offer. We have 3 cottages all nestled on a wooded knoll, overlooking our pond. The pond draws an abundance of wildlife but not conducive to swimming or fishing.
This cottage just received a major upgrade, to a include a first floor King bedroom, while retaining the Queen bed in loft and 1st floor bunk room. The Chickadee (Cottage #3) differs from the other two cottages, with 2 first floor bedrooms. The first bedroom includes a King bed very closet. The bunk room is stunning, with 2 craftsman built-in bunk beds and walk up steps in between. Very appropriate for adults as well as children. The kitchenette/living space is a bit larger and boasts an open floor plan with soaring ceiling. The bathroom is on-suite with the bunk room, immediately net to King room and accessible through the living area. The stand up loft is a multi use space with desk and Queen bed.
All 3 cottages are nestled on a beautiful knoll amongst the trees. You'll enjoy the peaceful porch overlooking the pond and field, where you can enjoy the wildlife that abounds on this property. This private, bucolic place is pure peace and relaxation. We, the owners, live on property and are so excited to share our dream come true. We provide linens to include bedding and 2 sets of towels per person and will be readily available to insure your stay meets all your expectations.

The loft has 2 full size beds and a generous sitting space, giving the children plenty of room to play, plus generous size table for games or additional work from home space. This simple rustic cottage sits on the shore of the beautiful Medomak river in Bremen overlooking a real working waterfront where you can buy lobsters fresh off the wharf. The bedroom has Queen size bed and there is a pull out couch in the main open area as well as another couch to sleep on. Perfect for 2 couples !! There are four kayaks available for use down at our wharf which located directly in front of the cottage( **** it is tidal and rocky) This is a small commercial wharf where we buy lobsters directly from the local fishermen. The quaint village Damariscotta is a 15 minute drive away and it is only a 30 minute drive to Camden as well as Boothbay Harbor . Pemaquid Beach and Pemaquid Lighthouse as well as many other scenic sights are in the local area. There are many great places to hike in this area. A hiking guide is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped . There is a barbecue grill as well as a fire pit.
