The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel

Friday stay Check in was great. Fourth floor ice machine not working. Sent me to 5th floor. Saturday when we left went to 5th floor and no ice. For the price your ice machines should work! No valet at night. Had to give night clerk keys. Departure was fine. Construction was heavy around hotel.

The staff are some of the nicest, most helpful people I've met anywhere. I'm wheelchair bound so i don't get out mych, but Graydon, Natalia and another Bethany were absolutely wonderful to me and bent over backwards to help me when I got stuck here for another 2 days waiting on my broken oxygen concentrator to be replaced! Also, Alex in the bar and the wonderful server who works the morning shifts, were also really patient, kind and helpful! There were several other's whose names i did not get that deserve to be complimented on their helpfulness and kindness. Overall, you have the best staff and they provided a great atmosphere! Thanks to all who helped this mobility challenged grandma from Portland Oregon

Construction going on the north and east sides of the hotel, but it’s doable. The parking garage scanner is ridiculous and takes forever. We had to wait a long time for elevators checking out, which hasn’t happened before. Might have just been a busy time. Otherwise it was a fine place to stay, and the Cornhusker is my favorite place to stay when I come to Lincoln.

This hotel has seen better days. I travel to Lincoln frequently for work, and this is the 6th different hotel I’ve stayed in. From the tiny elevators (one of which stopped at every floor, going up and going down, to the tiny bathrooms (have to step in all the way beside the toilet to be able to close the door, to the lack of functioning air conditioning, it just felt worn out. Upon check in, my room was significantly hotter than the hallways, which is unusual. Thermostat, set to auto, read 78. That’s a little hot for comfort. Set it at 68, left the room and went to work and dinner. 6 hours later, when I got back, there was a trickle of cool air coming from the vent, but when I manipulated the thermostat, the room was still at 78. I put the A/C on at 60, and it ran the whole time. The room was never cooler than 78. Terrible. Told the nice young lady at the desk the first morning, but nothing was done about it. And, not to sound cheap, but this is the only one of the 6 hotels without complimentary breakfast. I chose this hotel because everything else was booked. Will definitely be the last choice of downtown hotels. Pretty miserable stay.

Staff was friendly. Room was great but not excellent; bathroom layout lil odd due 2 position of door toliet 2 door; shower could use a lil update. Housekeeping replinished coffee & tea everyday which was excellent & coffee was above average. Starbucks cafe a plus. Property close 2 other restaurants. Property restaurant/bar is good.

Room was a great size and very clean. Lots of outlets! Unfortunately the air did not work well and no one slept because it was too hot. Bar was fun!
