Getting a free upgrade to a sea-view room was partly thanks to my good karma built up over the years, and partly to the lovely and kind front desk staff, Nicole, and the handsome bellboy, Mark. Facing the sea, it's peaceful and serene. With the gentle warmth of the first morning sun, I quietly watched the kids learning to surf – it’s perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The room was spacious enough for my family and me to stay comfortably. The air conditioning was cool and the hot water temperature was just right. We even got upgraded to a sea view room because it's the off-season. The pool was very clean, and the area is quite quiet, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the service was excellent.

Perhaps it was because we checked in at night, coming from Clear Water Bay, but the hotel was a bit hard to find once we exited the highway. On the plus side, it wasn't crowded and was very quiet. Plus, it's really close to the popular scenic road, which made it super convenient for taking photos.

Facilities: Given its age, the hotel is well-maintained and offers good soundproofing. Hygiene: Generally met expectations. Environment: Excellent sea views, perfect for sunset photos. Xiangshui Bay beach is a bit coarser than others, but the sea water is lovely. Service: The staff are enthusiastic and welcoming. Overall, it's great for surfing enthusiasts, photography lovers, and also suitable for families.

The front desk service was warm and attentive, the room was clean and hygienic, and the pool was comfortable and beautiful.

There's not much to do around the hotel. Inside, you have the pool and beach, but billiards, gym, surfing, and tennis all come with extra charges, and they're not particularly cheap. My main feeling is that there aren't enough activities. Everything else was fine. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which is a big plus. You can also see both the sunrise and sunset. It's suitable for families with kids, and during the off-season, it's not crowded at all.

The service was absolutely amazing! The butler and staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Our ocean view room was beautiful, and the sea was a stunning shade of blue. It was excellent value for money. Breakfast was delicious, and after the tide went out, there were so many little crabs on the beach nearby. 😋

First of all, a big thank you to the front desk agent, Yunni! I had a high-speed train to Meilan Airport at 3 PM on my check-out day, and I was wondering where to kill time after checking out. To my surprise, when Yunni learned about my dilemma, she proactively offered me a complimentary late check-out until 2 PM! What a pleasant surprise! Secondly, the hotel room was relatively new, the sea view room wasn't damp, and the breakfast had a good variety. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. On the night we checked in, we wanted to take a bath, but even after the hotel disinfected the tub, there were still some minor issues. When we asked the front desk if they had disposable tub liners, they couldn't provide any. When this particular lady found out, she was so enthusiastic, patient, and incredibly proactive that she bought liners for both of our rooms out of her own pocket. We're so grateful (and regret not getting her name or employee ID)! We hope this message reaches the kind and beautiful lady who helped us. 🥰

I stayed in Lingshui, Hainan for five days and have been at this hotel the whole time. Parking is super convenient – no need to scan a QR code every time I leave. On the last day, I spontaneously added another night, and the front desk lady upgraded our room, which had an amazing view. The staff were all great; hotel personnel even delivered our takeout. We brought our baby, and it was very quiet. The hotel cleaning staff tidied our room beautifully every day. Our room was very close to the sea and had no strange smells. When we checked out, a gentleman in the lobby noticed I hadn't eaten yet. He specifically called the restaurant to confirm they were still serving and asked if we wanted to eat before leaving, which was incredibly thoughtful ☺️. The room views are fantastic, the beach is spotless, and the pool is very well maintained with no debris.

This Marriott is an incredible value for over 300 RMB! They upgraded me to a beachfront room and included breakfast! Marriott is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)!

Yunni's service was excellent! This hotel is perfect for families with young children. They have an outdoor splash park suitable for kids aged two and up, and even better, a fantastic indoor kids' castle play area. It's great to have both indoor and outdoor options, and hotel guests get free access! It's truly the best choice for families with kids – no hassle for adults, no hassle for children! For a low-season price of 500+ RMB, what more could you ask for? Compared to some newer hotels, this one really shines for family travel.
