My partner and I had booked to stay at Madame Pensaor Amor. A week before we were scheduled to leave from Melbourne for Europe my partners father passed away. The property manager would not provide any form of compensation or refund as we cancelled a week prior.

We stayed 2 nights, both nights we were kept awake by both the nightclub bar which is part of the hotel, loud base music went on here until 2am which is normal according to the hotel manager. Then there is a disco next door which still plays loud music until 4 or 5 am. You can not easily get in and out before midday as they lock all the doors, and you physically have to go and find someone to let you out, which is basically a death trap if there is a fire. No kettle in the room, but coffee mugs and *****s are in the tray for you to use. Staff are not that bothered with guests on the whole. Not enjoyable at all.

Madam’s Lodge - a unique experience. The room was clean and well decorated with some fun facts and little ‘extra’s’ if required. The bar area was fun and the seated area very pleasant with a nice vibe. Bar and hotel staff very polite and helpful. The breakfast came in a pretty hamper but there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, our only complaint. The Pink Street outside was vibrant and very busy and noisy but the double glazed windows were excellent so we were not disturbed at all and slept well.

You must visit this place just for the unique experience. Afternoon chill or evening party it caters for everyone. You won’t get this experience anywhere else. If you like a fun atmosphere you won’t be disappointed. We had lovely cocktails

Amazing ambience, a fantastic experience. We were well taken care of with such lovely staff. The decor and room were so unique and beautiful. Great location and fantastic value for money considering the room was huge. The only mention is that the sofa had some stains on it which were clear as it was a velvety material.

This property is an adult themed property above a very popular bar on a very popular party street location . The room has adult paraphernalia. It was inappropriate for me and my daughter's stay.

Loved this unique hotel and the staff. The manager was particularly very helpful and accommodating during the stay.
Great place to stay if you are looking for nightlife or as a couple.

This place was truly wonderful, everything’s well decorated and clean. The folks working there are all extremely welcoming and accommodating! I suggest you bring ear plugs or ask for some, you might be able to hear the bar depending on which room you’re in.
