Holiday Inn LISBON by IHG

The hotel is very old with 1990s style. The rooms they gave me is with large pillars in the room. I spent 30mins to negotiate until they change to a normal room while they have more 70% empty rooms for that day. The location is bad, far from both metro stations around 12-15 mins walking. what’s more disappointing, they only offer drinking water on the first day, if you stay for multiple days, no water at all. They even didn’t change my towel for the first day.  With the same price, I would recommend any 3 star or apartments in the central area for travellers.

Good location, clean room, spacious... comfortable....good service in general

This is a nice hotel, a little too far from the subway stations but acceptable, close to many restaurants… The staff is nice, helpful and service-oriented. The view from the first room was not OK (see the first photo below) and the staff changed upon my request my room. The new room had a better view (see the second photo below). The room was clean and the bed comfortable. But as the other hotel guests were talking and passing by in the corridor, it was heard inside the room (although the door was closed). The room and its bath room need to be renovated. Right now, they look like a summer cottage in the 1980ies. The restaurant and public spaces on the ground floor are however updated. The breakfast was nice.

Location a bit far from city center, and nearer to the airport. Very accessible to metro and bus. We use uber most of the time. Hotel room is a bit aged, but clean and nice , lobby is nice too. Housekeeping was done everyday but finished shower gel was not replaced, but was sent to us immediately after we called. Overall is nice and a good hotel to stay.

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean. The breakfast is very good

Nice location, quiet. But the bed mattress is too soft. Breakfast is good as well
