1. **Great Location:** This place is right above luxury stores like LV, making it super convenient to get to the old town. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and public transport (buses and subways) is easily accessible, so getting around is a breeze. 2. **Complimentary Breakfast:** The selection is limited, but since it's free, I can't complain. 3. **Affordable Price:** I booked this last minute, and it was one of the cheapest single rooms available. 5. **Tiny Room:** Even with just a backpack, I felt like there was hardly any space. This is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. If you have luggage, it would be a real struggle. 6. **Outdated Facilities:** The hallway had a retro vibe, but the room felt musty and dirty (even though it was technically clean). The wooden cabinets had a peculiar smell that I really disliked. 7. **Terrible Soundproofing:** I didn't get a good night's sleep for three nights straight. I could hear everything happening in the neighboring room crystal clear. The pipes and air conditioning were incredibly loud, and since my room was in the middle of the restaurant, I was woken up by the clatter of dishes at 7:30 AM every morning. 😭 Personally, I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you prefer a quiet and modern environment. However, my friend thought it was incredibly good value for money, saying, "For this location, this price, a single room with hot water, and free breakfast – what more could you ask for?!" 😂 PS: This is how big the room looks when I take a wide-angle photo from the bed.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the middle of Avenida da Liberdade, with a Louis Vuitton store nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel's decor is very European, small but beautiful and cozy. The older gentleman at the front desk was extremely polite and proactively helped us store our luggage. The only downside is that the soundproofing is really poor. We stayed in room 201, and in the middle of the night, we heard loud arguing. Then, early in the morning, there was noise from the nearby kitchen operating. We barely got any sleep.

Great location, right above LV, with the train and subway stations just a few steps away. It's a small, cozy European-style hotel. The only downside is the restaurant is a station away, as big brands aren't available there. There's a supermarket at the intersection. It can be a bit noisy if your room faces the main road. I requested a quiet twin room, and my window overlooked an inner courtyard, which was indeed quiet. However, I'd suggest they repaint the walls around the courtyard; they look quite dirty now.

The hotel has a more classic style a slightly older look, the counter you need up to the second floor just can find it, for beginners we tot we came to the wrong places. The location is good and clean, and the breakfast is quite good with the service.

Located very centrally, the hotel is quite old though. My room was right behind what seems to have been a kitchen so I was woken up with loud rattling and other noises in the morning. I was there for an overnight transit only so didn’t stay long to explore more.

The hotel looks quite old, but surprisingly, the interior is very clean. The room is a bit small, but the location is excellent and easy to find, making it more suitable for short stays without large luggage. What I found a bit inconvenient was the shower being over a bathtub, and the drainage was slow when showering, which I wasn't used to.

The brochure says it’s a three-star hotel, but in reality it’s only two stars. There’s no kettle in the room, and not even a bottle of water to start with. As for breakfast – don’t bother ordering it next time.

The location for this hotel is very good. Close to everything. Amenities are good. Bed is very comfortable and the service is excellent. Good breakfast and well worth the money you pay.

Dom Sanchio 1 is a charming rustic-style hotel with a fantastic location. It’s well-connected, with plenty of taxis, the train station, buses, and the iconic Tram 28 just around the corner. Victor and Tarsis were absolute gems—always ready with helpful recommendations and suggestions, which made our stay even better. That said, there are some downsides. Housekeeping was very minimal, limited mostly to towel changes and a quick bed tidy-up. Breakfast was repetitive and quite basic throughout our four-day stay. The biggest challenge, however, was the bathroom—it was incredibly small, probably the tiniest I’ve ever come across in a hotel or hostel, requiring you to walk sideways just to get in. Overall, it’s a convenient and welcoming place if location and friendly service matter most, but be prepared for the compact facilities and simple amenities.

The hotel locates at the city center of Lisbon and quite near to many of the tourism sites. It is convenient to reach anywhere by walking or by taking public transportation from the hotel. The service is quite good and the room has everything that it should have.
