Great place to spend your stay in Lisbon, its nearby to Lisbon centre, walking distance. The facilities are good and its value for money. PS: I stayed in month of December which is usually quite in comparison to summer.

Smart, clean accommodation in a very convenient location. Comfy beds, good shower, and neat kitchen. The only downside is that you get night-time noise from revellers as they go down the street. This didn't stop us from having a fantastic stay. The staff were so helpful and friendly and having a washing machine was a bonus.

Glad to know this area of Lisbon because of the hotel conversion. I think it is worth it in Lisbon with the facilities inside the hotel. Although it is in the old town of Portugal, the interior of the hotel is clean and well equipped, and the owner's intimate and delicateness can be seen everywhere. Although the price is a little higher. It is recommended that a microwave oven will be more perfect.

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms weee tidy and clean, floors were a bit squeaky but nothing too bad, and the staff were extremely friendly and chill- they gave me advice on the spots I should hit in Lisbon, and played FIFA with me! Too bad the shower was kind of cold, otherwise it would have been a straight 10/10 rating.

Because the location is good, it is recommended for those who want to travel alone and keep the accommodation cost cheap. However, there is only one bathroom on one floor and there is a washroom, so it is difficult to go to the toilet while the opposite sex is using 々. Also, the charging spot was broken in the room I stayed in.

On a busy street, it’s not very quiet, but you can wear earplugs. Your experience depends on the other travelers, of course, if they are considerate.
The staff is very nice and accommodating.
The reason I like this place is because it has a lot of character. It’s a turn-of-the-last century, 1890s palace, with very fancy ceilings, parquet wooden floors, and a marble floor lobby. It’s a real palace, one of many in Portugal!
In 1914 it was rented to the Swiss Ambassador of Portugal. Although the place is quite dated now, it still has a lot of class.
If you have a little more money, you can rent a small suite, higher up and quieter, also with credit card points (free or almost ).
Unfortunately the internet only works in the lobby if you have a mobile phone. It seems to work fine for iPads and computers, strangely enough.
It has a kitchen and washer / dryer.
The fridge is old-style retro, as well as the deco in the whole hotel / hostel.
(small fridge, but it does have a small freezer, too.)
The place has a restaurant, which is popular. If you eat a large breakfast you can include it with your rent, it costs about 9€
(I don’t , so the kitchen was fine – modern electric stove top, microwave – no oven!)
The top bunk of a three-tiered system is fairly safe, as it has steps, instead of ladder rungs. It has wooden lockers (bring your own lock) and small boxes, hidden in the stairs at every bed level. Not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights…
or those who can’t do stairs.
Two flights of stairs up! Shared rooms on first and second floors, kitchen is on the first.
No elevator to the shared rooms, unlike the suites.

The facility itself is good. Housekeeping is done every day.
However, there is a serious problem in this apartment. From September 2024, the municipality set tourist tax 4 euro/day, This is exclusively expensive. In addition to that, the management company charged me three times of the amount as tips, it means 72.euro total not 24 euro, as I stayed for 6 nights alone. Nobody can deny this, as it is a machine process and you can't get the room key number without the payment. I could get the pdf receipt after check out asking sometimes.
Although I protested this payment after the check out many times, but the company has never tried to correspondent with me and of course no cash back from the apartment.
It is almost criminal!

I just returned from a wonderful vacation at Solar Dos Poetas, and I can’t say enough good things about my stay! The location is absolutely amazing, nestled in a picturesque area that made exploring the sights a breeze. Everything I wanted to see in the city was either within walking distance or just a short trip away.
One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. The team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their local recommendations were spot on and really enhanced my experience.
Breakfast was another fantastic part of my visit! Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious spread that included fresh pastries, fruits, and a variety of options that catered to different tastes. It was the perfect start to my day and gave me the energy I needed for my adventures.
Overall, Solar Dos Poetas exceeded all my expectations. With its exceptional location, outstanding customer service, and delightful breakfast, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again! Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, the reception, hygiene and services are all very good, except that the room is slightly small. It's very convenient to go out and walk around. There is French Veal downstairs, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. The dessert shop in the hotel is also delicious, not too sweet, and is worth a try. Breakfast is a la carte and very rich. Staying for two days can save a lot of money.

The apartment is located in the centre of Lisbon, on the small side, but is equipped with all the facilities. It was very nice that you could leave the baggage before check-in and after check-out, so you could walk on your comfort through Lisbon. Good Wi-Fi and good air-condition, fine plus points!

LLeonardoshThe B&B has a beautiful courtyard, which is the same living environment as the local residents, with high and low slopes, random green plants, and lazy cats. The room was completely clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is prepared by a dedicated chef, and the variety is no less than that of the hotel. There are also many local family delicacies that you can experience. There is unlimited coffee and lemonade at the reception before 22:00 in the evening, and snacks are also free. It should be noted that the hotel is located deep in a residential area. The Bolt cannot reach the entrance of the courtyard. It can only be reached by ordinary taxis. Guests with large suitcases may have to walk up a patchy slope.
