I stayed at the Chapel House earlier this week with a couple of colleagues on a business trip and was delighted with my stay - a very traditional boutique hotel with excellent rooms, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The bed supplied one of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time and the shower pressure was incredibly good. The location of the hotel is perfect being close to the main market square with a good range of ale houses but set back behind the church meaning it was very peaceful and quiet. The restaurant was beautiful, pressed linen table cloths, polished cutlery and adorned with beautifully polished silverware. The service outstanding by both our waitress and the Chef himself who came to our table to ensure we were enjoying our meal. The food, cooked by the brilliant owner Richard was top notch, a really solid fine dining menu with a good range of expertly cooked dishes and a truly magnificent wine list (try the Amarone del Valpolicella, it's a particularly good example!). The breakfast was also incredibly good as was Richard's wonderful home made marmalade! Thanks so much to Richard and Siobhan for being such good hosts, We'll be back!
