Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa

The hotel is lovely from start to finish we enjoyed every part of our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is fairly close to the airport but that didn’t bother us. If you’re a plane spotter then this hotel is for you! The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Again the food at dinner was lovely but we would have liked more choice on the menu as when you are half board we didn’t find there were that many dishes available and becomes a bit repetitive. We would definitely stay at the Electra again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely loved our stay. We went late May beginning of June 10 nights. Never been to a hotel where the staff were as attentive and friendly. The staff made the stay extra special and couldn’t do enough for the guests. From the restaurant, cleaning staff, reception and waiting staff all just so nice. We stayed in a private pool room which was spacious clean and comfortable. The pool area was quiet and our private pool just gorgeous with amazing sunset views and scenery every night. Breakfast Buffet small but adequate for a small hotel. Dinner was great and again 5star service. Menus aren’t the biggest but the food quality for Breakfast, lunch and dinner was lovely. Ideal for a quiet relaxing break and the whole experience left us relaxed and recharged. Being close to the airport had disadvantages with the odd plane going over but honestly didn’t bother us at all. In fact 40mins between landing collecting luggage and being checked in to our room was great. Didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return.

Lovely hotel with kind and friendly staff. Everyone greeted you with a smile and were always ready to answer any questions you may have. Rooms were always cleaned thoroughly and restaurant food very good. We booked bed and breakfast but did have dinner in the hotel on several occasions and always enjoyed our meal and the restaurant staff were always very helpful. Building work next door was not a problem, never heard any noise during our stay. Would love to return.

I had such a wonderful experience at the spa today. Although I’m not staying at the hotel, I booked a massage and I’m so glad I did. My massage therapist, Antonia, was absolutely incredible. She was so friendly and kind, and gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I usually go for strong Thai massages, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from a relaxing massage, but it was fantastic. The pressure was perfect, and she really helped ease the pain and tension in my back. I left feeling so much better. I’d also like to thank the lovely receptionist who welcomed me when I arrived. She and Antonia were both so warm and friendly, and they made me feel completely at ease. They also arranged for me to enjoy the sauna and steam room after my treatment, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Before my massage, I had lunch by the pool, and it was absolutely delicious. The food tasted incredibly fresh, the setting was beautiful, and the service was excellent. A thank you to Chris, who was so helpful and happy to offer advice for the rest of my stay in Kefalonia. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kefalonia. Even if you’re not staying there, it’s well worth booking a spa treatment and enjoying lunch. I’ll definitely be back!

I came here for a week in June with my husband. It delivered on every level. The view was incredible: purple sunsets, clear blue skies. The pace of life was calm and soothing. The food was delicious (we did half board and thought it was excellent value for money). The facilities were great: main pool was pretty, there were always plenty of sun loungers and you could have cocktails (/wonderful draught Alfa beers) delivered to you while you read a book. Other guests were generally respectful of the atmosphere - no loud conversations etc. - and that really helped contribute to the ambiance. The staff could not have been more friendly. The gym was decent enough for a week of workouts. You can take your pool towels down to the beach (where two sun loungers can be yours for 20€ per day) and if you want to rent bikes or a car, the concierge can arrange for them to be delivered to the hotel for you. If you’re looking for a stunning view, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, then you would struggle to find much better than this. It’s worth knowing that there are 4-15 flights per day that go overhead, but you get used to them and they don't run late into the night or early in the morning! Oh, and you can get to Argostoli by bus (30ish mins) and the bus stop is 100m from the hotel. Taxis from the airport are mysteriously 20€ (even though it's a 5 min journey) but some drivers are amenable to haggling. If you don’t want to eat lunch at the hotel every day, you can grab a sandwich and a beer from Tropicana, also about 100m from the hotel.

Our stay at Electra Kefalonia had some truly good moments. The hotel is beautiful, with modern and very comfortable rooms, complemented by a high-end infrastructure. The breakfast is excellent, and the location offers stunning views. The highlight of our stay was definitely the friendliness of the entire staff, who were consistently warm and welcoming. A special thanks to the bar team, who were always helpful, attentive, and provided impeccable service throughout our time there. The only downside was that, at certain points, some 'hotel policies' hindered the flow of our experience. These internal rules felt a bit rigid and didn't always align with the helpfulness of the staff or the relaxing atmosphere the hotel aims to provide. If these policies were more flexible to prioritize the guest experience, the stay would be flawless.

From the moment we checked into Electra Hotel and Spa, this boutique hotel delivered pure relaxation, excellent food and some of the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced. The hotel beautifully balances high-end modern elegance with a calm, friendly but intimate atmosphere. What truly makes Electra unforgettable is its team. The customer service here isn’t just professional; it feels genuinely warm and personalised. A massive shoutout to Kosmos and Christos! Their outstanding customer service completely made our trip. They went above and beyond every single day to ensure we had everything we needed, as did all the staff. They became our absolute go-to guides for exploring the island. Their recommendations led us to some of the most incredible, authentic restaurants Kefalonia has to offer. Their insider knowledge saved us hours of guessing and ensured every evening meal was a highlight in itself. Thanos the restaurant manager went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and husband’s birthdays were celebrated in style with a champagne breakfast and a homemade birthday cake each. Between the stunning hotel and the unforgettable care from Kosmos, Christos, and the rest of the staff, we arrived as guests and truly felt like we left as friends. We cannot wait to return!

We were only on the island for a 3 night trip as we were attending a friend’s wedding a few miles away. My wife and I wish we had booked for an extra two nights. To get the elephant out of the room, as other have mentioned you can here airplanes during 8 hrs- 21 hrs. Did this ruin our trip…. Err no! The hotel is expanding and there is some noise next door. Did this ruin our trip….. Err no! Would we go back 100%. The airplanes were actually incredible as we saw a few failed landings which we joked with other guests. The views are incredible. Sea water is crystal clear. The thing that separates this hotel to others is the staff. EVERY member of staff made us feel welcome and went the extra mile. For example when we returned from the wedding at 1am, they had iced water waiting for us and they were genuinely excited to hear about the wedding and dancing etc. Hidden gem at the hotel is in the basement. The spa is lovely and sadly we only went on the last day. But this would be must when we return. Konstantinos - your staff are such an incredible asset, well done.
