Novotel Liverpool Centre

Very disappointed with our stay at Novotel Liverpool Centre. Within 30 minutes of checking into our room, my 1-year-old daughter found a large round sweet underneath the bed while crawling around. Before I could reach her, she put it in her mouth and started choking. It was one of the scariest moments I’ve experienced as a parent. The sweet was not ours. We hadn’t bought or eaten any sweets, so it had clearly been left behind by a previous guest. This raises serious concerns about the cleanliness of the room and the hotel’s housekeeping standards. I reported the incident to the hotel, and the manager mentioned that the cleaning team had recently been changed and that this may have affected the standard of cleaning. While I appreciated the honesty, it does not change the fact that my daughter was put at risk. I have photographs of the sweet and have kept it as evidence. I hope the hotel carries out a thorough investigation and improves its cleaning procedures so that no other family has to go through such a frightening experience.

Good location. Rooms were clean but bit noisy when window was opened at night. Card key stopped working twice, had to get re scanned and then get new card keys to access room on second day.

Finding a hotel in Liverpool with a swimming pool that allows children can be surprisingly difficult, so discovering this gem was a highlight of our trip. Our daughter absolutely loved spending time in the pool, which made our family holiday extra special. Beyond the great amenities, the staff and overall team were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Liverpool—we will definitely be back!

Location was excellent. Room clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Only problem was the shower over the bath. I was unable to access this facility as there was nothing to hold on to to step in to the bath tub which was slippery as well. For an older person this situation is an accident waiting to happen. It would be a wise move on behalf of the hotel to ask an elderly visitor if a walk in shower would be safer for them.

The hotel is very central and ideal for quick access to most shops and sights. It's modern, quiet and the rooms comfortable and clean. The team there are professional and friendly and make it a really nice stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you

We had a lovely time plus we got to take the dog one thing was sad for us all as a family LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW TO THE CAR PARK SO BAD

Great two night break at Novotel Liverpool City Centre. The location was perfect for all the sights bars and restaurants. We went to see Barry Manilow concert and the arena was approx 10 -15 minute walk which was great. Had a freshly cooked meal in the restaurant called Ropewalks inside the hotel, we ordered fish and chips and New York Cheese cake. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced two courses for £20. The pool initially felt cold but was fine after a few minutes of swimming. I thought it was a very good hotel with good facilities in a perfect location and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Liverpool
