Hard Days Night Hotel Liverpool

Hard Days Night Hotel is in the heart of The Beatles area, next to Mathew Street where The Cavern Club is located. Despite its being weekend, we didn't hear any noise at night from our room on the fifth floor. The bedroom was large and pleasant. (Our room had a picture of George - my favourite Beatle - on the wall, which made me very happy!) Things some people find remiss are (1) no fridge in the room (at least not in the Classic Double), (2) TV had a very basic remote and fuction, and while it claimed to allow internet access, we couldn't use any app /mirroring from our iPhones; (3) toiletaries were very basic (just liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner refilled); (4) no movable shower with a hose. Breakfast was truly excellent! It's self-service buffet-type, but all the full-English parts were there and they were all very, very good. We also went to a bar in the evening and it was also very nice with Beatle-themed cocktails, in addition to usual drinks. Overall, we would definitely love to come back to this hotel!

We didn't enjoy our stay as we had a room with broken air conditioning which due to the extreme heat we have seen this summer made it terribly uncomfertable to sleep in. The windows didn't open and the additional fan which was providing was insufficient as were the placing of the plug sockets around the room meaning the fans had little to no affect as they were at the opposite end of the room.

The hotel & bar was great, we had a side room with a joining door, you could hear everything from the next door guests which you felt you had no privacy also we heard alot of noise from 6am every morning, road sweepers , rubbish Lorrie’s, glass collections etc… and the ballards made a warning announcement when vehicles going in and out so ask for an inside room if your a light sleeper, don’t waste your money with the restaurant very disappointed, empty restaurant to be refused an evening meal at 7.30pm told to go back later, breakfast terrible we arrived in with plenty of time of the opening hours, but staff could not be any ruder, they just wanted to be finished which was very off putting & made you feel uncomfortable, turning toaster off 15 mins before closure, food standard very poor & very poor availability of fresh cooked food, We stayed 3 nights and after our experience of breakfast & evening meal, I cancelled the breakfast for the next 2 mornings, plenty of great places to eat around.

The Hard Days Night hotel is amazing, right in the heart of Beatles territory. The hotel is fantastic, the staff are super attentive, top notch and such be commended. On arrival I was surprised with a free upgrade. The room was very spacious with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a coffee machine with pods with biscuits. The bathroom was spacious with a bath, separate walk in shower, robes and slippers provided if needed. Drinks in the hotel bar were lovely. I will definitely, definitely be back to this brilliant hotel

There is no air dryer in the room, I called reception but no one answered. When I approached the counter, staff quickly brought one for me

Check in was nice and smooth I had requested a table to be booked at the bar for our anniversary (something special)had email confirming this had been done arrived at the bar to be told that they had not had this communicated. They did find us a table and the ladies were lovely.We had a dribble of a shower on floor 5 and when in use it went hot then cold and turned it self off. We had a meal on the first night so beautiful from start to finish the staff were lovely. We opted for breakfast this service was no as good not alot of choice eggs rock hard ,mushrooms cooked in garlic and the tables were not cleared of our empties we had to put them on another clean table so we could finish our breakfast.Staff did not look happy and seem to stand at the back of the room alot The hotel is lovely and clean cant fault cleanesness. The location is amazing and this is a very impressive looking hotel.

Had a great stay at this hotel and only sorry that it was for the one night . Location was perfect for us , right in the centre of the tourist attractions . An added bonus was the free room upgrade we received upon checking in . Very much appreciated and we will definitely be staying here again in the future.
