The room was basic but functional. The staff were friendly and efficient overall.

It was an experience I enjoyed because of the people I met during my stay at the hostel part of the accommodation. I will recommend it to young travelers.

Great sized kitchen and common area with free tea and coffee. I booked a ten bed room with curtains on the beds but was put in a more basic eight bed without curtains. I was told they do not guarantee room type until you arrive. The beds were wobbly and creaky and the pillow was very thin. A little cold in the common areas.

There was no towel or soap. Mattress was uncomfortable

Roommates are quiet and polite, although it’s a 8 people dorm, I had a good sleep.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the people of Liverpool were great, but the facilities were among the worst I've ever experienced in a hostel. The eight-person room didn't even have enough space to store large personal items. It was nice to have a kitchen so I could cook something. Still, it's one of the better hostels in Liverpool. The location isn't too far from central Liverpool, and the sunset views from the uphill walk are beautiful. While there were many drawbacks, the positives were also significant.

This hotel is very nice and clean. I booked a dorm for ladies. It was clean and quiet. I think the location is very good. It's only a 10-minute walk from the train station. There are also churches and other attractions around it. It's only a 10-minute walk to the city center. There is also a spacious kitchen with free tea and coffee. You can cook your own food. There is a refrigerator, microwave and toaster. However, it was off-season when I went there and it was very empty. They have a lot of rooms. If they are full in the peak season, the experience may be different. Next time I go to Liverpool, I will choose here again. I used a credit card to book the room, and the front desk asked me for the credit card to verify. This is the first time I have encountered such a thing because there is a risk of fraud. I also entered the card number and quickly peeked at the security code on the back of the card. However, I had covered the security code with paper before, so I don't know if asking for a credit card is a regular operation. Anyway, I covered the security code in advance.
