Yu Shui Hot Spring Hotel

The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, and the bed was quite comfortable. The complimentary fruit was also a nice touch. Breakfast was extensive and tasted good. The service staff had a great attitude. Yushui Hot Spring is very close, with direct access from the hotel, and the hot spring environment is excellent.

Great for family trips, especially for leisurely strolls. Food can be a bit pricey, but there's plenty for kids to do, like indoor crafts and a trampoline park, which is perfect for rainy days. You can get there using the internal shuttle.

Environment: The hotel's surroundings are absolutely stunning, I love being in the mountains and feeling connected to nature. Facilities: The hotel is showing its age, so naturally, the facilities are a bit old. Service: The butler service is fantastic, especially the butler named Camellia (on WeChat) who provided excellent service. It definitely makes me want to come back a second time. Hygiene: Given the older facilities, the hygiene is what you'd expect. However, it's perfectly fine for those who aren't too particular.

The room was very clean and had a small balcony, which was perfect for relaxing, scrolling on my phone, and snacking on some seeds. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions and quick to assist with any needs. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. The hot springs were large with many different pools, and it wasn't too crowded. There were dry towels and hot drinks available everywhere. The only downside was the weather, so I'll definitely go back on a nicer day next time. The breakfast buffet was a bit busy, and it felt like the restaurant wasn't quite big enough. They might consider opening an additional dining area for breakfast during holidays.

The hotel environment is excellent. The butler contacted us in advance, so we could check in directly upon arrival. Our room had a balcony overlooking a tea plantation, and we could watch the tea pickers at work. It's about a 10-minute walk to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The hot spring service was very good, with dry towels readily available for changing. They even offered warm porridge late at night, which was delicious.

I booked a twin room, and it was very clean. The buffet dinner downstairs had a wide variety of dishes and live music, creating a fantastic atmosphere. After a satisfying meal, we enjoyed a hot spring bath, and there was even warm congee available after 9 PM. My child also loved the Year of the Horse doll they received.

The room was spacious and even had a small balcony. The facilities were a bit dated, and there was a slight leak under the sink. It was convenient to access the hot springs from the hotel, and we could even wear the hot spring loungewear back to the room, which was a thoughtful touch since our bathrobes were already wet. However, the auntie at the fruit counter in the hot spring's second-floor lounge area had a very bad attitude. Also, when I asked a waitress at the restaurant entrance about the heartwarming congee, she had no idea and I had to point to the sign for her. There's a serious lack of training there. On the bright side, the breakfast area was right next to the kids' play area, so adults could take turns eating while the kids played, which was great. The butler service was very attentive; they even reminded us daily not to miss breakfast and were very knowledgeable about attractions, which was very helpful. I especially want to praise the heartwarming congee served after the hot springs. It was made with freshly picked shepherd's purse from spring, which was incredibly comforting for a light hunger after a soak.

Our initial room wasn't great, but the staff helped us pick a room with a beautiful view, which was fantastic! 👍 The hotel breakfast had a good variety, but the Chinese restaurant's set meal wasn't worth the price. We barely touched the tofu and black rice, and the plate of four pan-fried buns had a pickled vegetable filling 😓. The only good thing was the fish head soup, which was very fresh and delicious 😋. The hot springs ♨️ are conveniently located right next to the hotel. It was so relaxing to soak there and wash away the fatigue, and it wasn't crowded at all, which was a bonus. The Bamboo Sea wasn't crowded either, and we didn't have to wait in line for the mini-train 🚄 or the cable car 🚡. The only downside was the slightly overcast weather; it would have been perfect if it had been sunny!
