was disappointed on arrival guy on reception new nothing about the parking which was by the way on see front and had to pay was led to believe they had parking .room was clean and bed was comfy but the room was tired there was a ceiling light which you could not turn off and was on all night. Was no one on reception all weekend that wee seen bar was not open and place was dead. Would not stay again but did have a great time in Llandudno.

Good location hotel was fine, clean and comfortable slightly dated but done the job on the seafront and room was very clean and accommodated a later check in

Booked sea view room in Can-y-Bae some months ago for a few days in September, having visited this hotel for many years. We were informed on arrival that the owners had recently left, and were offered a rear view room with views of drain pipes and brick wall. Agreed to move into the Central hotel next door, as the Central was now running Can-y-Bae and breakfasts were only provided in the Central. To say that the room in the Central was tired would be overly generous. Amongst many issues of decor, the carpets were dirty, there were bare electricity wires in the bathroom light as the rose had fallen down from the ceiling, and the curtains would not close properly. Also, the lift was broken and we were disappointed with the quality of room daily housekeeping. To be fair, the manageress of the Central was doing her best to deal with our, and other peoples, issues, but I think she is fighting an uphill battle.

Disappointing as it seems the owners left the business a month ago and it is being looked after by the Central Hotel next door. We were not made aware of this although I booked in April 2023. There was a note on the door on arrival to go next door. Very nice lady took us to our room but we were told breakfast would be served in the Central. Twin room small and dated. We didn't go for breakfast as considered having to go next door unacceptable without prior advice and reviews of Central not good. Very disappointed. Thankfully the show we had come to see was brilliant.

The room was very well equipped with an iron and a hairdryer. Decaf tea and coffee too!

Amazing stay in beautiful llanddudno. Had a great sysy st this hotel very attentive host. The breakfast was outstanding beautiful room with glorious views would love to stsy again

Lovely hotel, very clean, great breakfast, they can’t do enough for you and very polite. This hotel is very central for everything like the theatre, shops and pier

What a gorgeous hotel. Right across from the sea. The guys are so welcoming perfect location. Rooms spotless, beds super comfy and we have only been here a few hours looking forward to the rest if the weekend

The Can-Y-Bae is in a fabulous location. It's very comfortable and the owner very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Can-Y-Bae for a couple of nights away for our wedding anniversary. It was a last minute change as we had to change dates, but we are so pleased we did. David and Michael were so accommodating, even digging a keyring out of the liftshaft for us! The room was fabulous, with a stunning Welsh slate heart on the bathroom drawstring for the light. The whole building was clean and tidy, with personalised service wherever you went. The breakfast was lovely, and freshly cooked fried breakfast daily for those who want it. Definitely a great place to stay and will be back.

Stayed here for a few nights for our wedding anniversary, and had absolute first class service. The hotel was spotless throughout, the room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely Welsh slate touch on the light pull for the bathroom, breakfast was fabulous, with personalised service and the whole feel of the place is like being among friends. Dave and Michael really do their best to make it an enjoyable experience for every guest who walks through their door

Can Y Bae is a super little BnB on the seafront. Michael and David are great hosts. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. There is a well stocked bar. The breakfasts were excellent too!! I was travelling on my own and but there were always a few guests willing to have a chat in the lounge. Thanks Gentlemen. See you soon.... Phil.

I’ve been staying at the wonderful Can-Y-Bae two or three times a year for the last 14 years. Michael and Dave have been exemplary hosts and welcome guests with efficiency, charm and humour. Nothing is too much trouble, on top of which welcoming beloved pets haS meant that our visits to Llandudno with Squib were perfect family outings. Thank you both for all your kindness these past 14 years. XXX

A really lovely stay for a work conference. Excellent breakfast, comfortable room with everything I needed. Right on the prom with the beach straight across which was delightful for a morning stroll. It has a great atmosphere and the owners were so friendly and helpful. I managed to park on the street and paid the daily charge via the pay by phone app which was very reasonable compared to back in Cardiff! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Llandudno for business or leisure!
