Bridge End Hotel

Just stayed 2 nights at The Bridge End Hotel. We were given the superior double room at the front of the hotel. The room was spacious, pleasantly decorated and very clean with amazing views of Llangollen and the River Dee. Breakfast was of good quality and plentiful, as were the meals we ate in the evening. All of the staff were very professional and friendly from our host Charlotte who greeted us on arrival, to the staff that looked after us during breakfast and our evening meals. We would highly recommend staying here, or even just popping in for a drink and some food. We will definitely be returning ...

Really cosy and welcoming - just what was needed being pregnant and feeling generally rubbish. Dog friendly so our puppy was able to join us. Had one issue but was resolved straight away so no complaints! Breakfast was so good and we ate both nights in the restaurant/bar and even though it was a reduced menu, the food was lovely with enough choice. Staff were all really lovely too.

We stayed here for one night over the Easter bank holiday. We had a family room . The room was lovely, very clean and perfect for a family of four. Really good value for money. The hotel is in a perfect location. We had an amazing Sunday lunch in the restaurant downstairs. The service was amazing. The staff were all lovely but special mention to the lady running the restaurant and the lady behind the bar who were both excellent. Overall a really nice break. Would recommend.

The hotel has recently been refurbished to a very good standard, we stayed in room 1, the largest room & found it very clean, comfortable and perfect for a nights stay. The hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. We ate in the hotel in the evening & enjoyed good home cooked pub grub at a reasonable price. The pub area was busy with locals which was nice to see. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed in superior room, with comfortable bed and a lovely view, room was quite small and up 2 flights of stairs. It lacked storage and would have benefited from some drawers. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked but only served between 8am and 9am. Bar closed at 10pm. We paid for Dinner bed and breakfast and were disappointed that we weren’t informed on arrival that the oven was broken. When we arrived for dinner there was a very limited menu and they had also ran out of some of the limited items. Whilst we recognised the oven breaking was out of their control we should have been told prior to taking payment so we could have eaten elsewhere. Also they blamed the fact they ran out of pastries in the morning on the broken oven, however these were clearly shop bought! It’s an ok Hotel with friendly staff. No parking at the hotel but you can park for £4 daily at Mill st car park about 5 min walk away.

Had an excellent meal here! Fish and Chips and Burger. Everything was delicious and very hot! Coffee was lovely too and hot! Nice relaxing atmosphere and the two staff serving and chef duties were amazing! Visited on 28/1/26. Sorry did not catch their names, two young men. Nothing was a problem most welcoming and ample checks with our food etc. Absolutely marvellous. Will 100% return, can't wait. Thank you!!! for a pleasant visit.

We stayed Friday-Monday having never been to Llangollen before. What a beautiful town it is. This hotel was fantastic, couldn't do enough for us and was constantly busy. We ate here on the Friday and the food was that good, we booked back in for the Sunday. The room was perfect over looking the main centre and bridge/river. We had bed and breakfast, there was quite a few options and again, food was brill. I have to give a special mention to Jason the manager who made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us and anyone else who came in. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

We went tonight for some food and a couple of drinks. Ordered gammon, cheesy fries and chilli. Service was amazing, very polite and great atmosphere. Food was good apart from the chilli which was watery/oily and looked like the mince should have been browned before cooking. Not great. What was great though was the service when I mentioned I wasn’t happy. Keen to hear my feedback and quick decision on a refund for the dish. Really pleased with the customer service.
