The hotel is nice but a little bit old. The carpet is in an awful state. Except from that the rooms are big and clean.The breakfast is excellent with quality products. The situation by the lake but fairly close to the train station is excellent. I recommend it

The environment is beautiful and the transportation is convenient. Although it is a bit far from the train station, it is still walkable. The hotel breakfast is very rich and delicious. There are several scenic spots worth visiting nearby.

Check-in and check-out were friendly, very quick and uncomplicated. Room and bathroom were clean and big enough. Large balcony with table, chairs and deck chair. Coffee machine with ingredients, kettle and two bottles of water in the room. The location is quite central and right on the lake. You can be in the center of Locarno in 5-10 minutes. The friendliness of the staff in general is ok. The pool is nicely integrated into the garden, but the pool looks a bit dirty, milky and not clear. Overall, a good hotel.
