You feel very welcomed at Hotel Bellavista. The staff is pretty friendly, attentive and service oriented. Always a smile, esp. the young Vincenzo does a tremendous job. Greetings to all, mille grazie. Super view on the lake, nice pool and garden options. Restaurant was great.

Lovely scenery, views across Lake Maggiore, however, little going on in the village of Vira. Hotel up a steep hill, on a busy road so unless an avid walker, you will need a car to see the best of the area. Choose a 2 course menu plus soup & buffet or separate courses which worked well for us with mostly good food.

We were very pleased with our stay in this hotel. The recently renovated room was spacious with a large balcony directly overlooking the lake. The bed was very comfortable and the food delicious and varied, catering for all tastes. The pool was great for cooling off when it was hot although, unfortunately, we had a variable week weather-wise. The staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. Definitely a place to return to.

I have to say, I was a bit worried when we booked a 3-star-hotel for a reasonable price for our group of 12-14 people but from the first moment the Bellavista exceeded all my expectations. Spacious rooms, good beds, super-friendly staff, excellent meals and most of all the stunning view. The view alone should receive an extra star. The value for money can't be better than this. Whenever I'll be in this area again my choice where to stay will be easy
