Stayed one night out of five, cut our losses and got the night ferry back to UK. Caravan basic and a bit unloved, I didn't expect much more and would have accepted it for £70 a night. However, we chose the site as we wanted somewhere quiet just to sleep and thought this would do as it is advertised as a family site. We were placed in an area where everyone else seemed to be groups of transient / migrant workers. We didn't sleep well as our neighbours kept late hours and liked to chat outside. We arrived back on the second evening (Friday night) at 7.30pm with a large group of youths three meters away from the caravan playing loud rave music and shouting. I spoke to reception about it who didn't want to know and was told to phone the helpline in the broucher. I was unable to get a response, so took the decision to go home as I couldn't see the experience improving. On reflection I am grateful I live in an okay place with reasonable neighbours and that the break down in society stretches further than our shores.

The caravan park it’s self was good, food was lovely in the restaurant. Swimming pool and indoor beach was fab for kids. Few parks around the camp. Caravan was very basic, not much room In the bedrooms at all. Wasn’t many English/Welsh people there more of a local holiday place for Belgium I would say. Staff didn’t speak much English or neither was there anything translated into English for us to read (menu) signs In the park ect, all entertainment was in Dutch (Thank god for goggle translate) I would definitely recommend taking your own pillows thank god we did as the pillows did smell of sweat 🫣 there wasn’t any mattress covers either. I suppose what we paid for a week was what you got - basic, average Not much around the park if wanted to go out for a walk some where.

The food was absolutely freezing and they did not give us the food we wanted, the showers were also freezing so i had to use a warm shower but with no lock on the door. Washing machines did not work either.

Worthless campsite. We had rented a pipo wagon via the internet. On arrival, these turned out not to be in use at all and we ended up in a filthy chalet at the back of the campsite. The chalet itself was dirty, there were dirty dishes in the cupboard and old toilet rolls were in the bathroom. It didn't feel right at all and we decided to leave. Such a shame, because we paid a lot for 2 nights! Definitely not recommended. The swimming pool and catering were also closed!

Had a nice holiday despite the fact that the pool is not open and the indoor play beach. Park was very clean and the staff did everything to make everything neat. The lommelse hoof itself was clean and everything was there. Good sauna and because the pool was closed, the pool at the Lommelse Hoeve was already filled, the only thing we missed was a jacuzzi 😉. We will definitely come back when everything is open again.

The sanitary block was freezing cold during the autumn holidays, as were the catering facility and the swimming pool. Before 12 noon there was no cup of coffee or anything like that. A lot of untapped potential! So beautifully situated in a beautiful walking and cycling area and on a cozy lake. The manager has his own TV program mass is cash register and that was noticeable in everything. Raking in as much money as possible without delivering much quality. A pity because it can be such a nice campsite with fun play areas and a nice swimming pool. Too bad, but for the same money we prefer to go to the nearby camping site De Paal. There you get value for money.

Went here with a small heart because of the reviews. All in all it is not too bad for camping. It is a family campsite by the water. So plumbing is not always clean, question is, does it lie to the holiday park or guests.. Corona doesn't exist here.. mouth masks in the catering industry have not been seen much yet and if you wear them you will be looked at crazy. All in all a holiday campsite for people who can take a beating

Très bon séjour en caravane 4 pers très propre rien à redire. Les enfants se sont super bien amusé au lac et dans la plaine de jeux intérieur. Ils ont aussi fait le mini golf et le petit train gratuit. Malgré qu il ne parle pas le français ,on est très bien accueilli
