Astor Hyde Park Hostel Reviews

This place is on the door step to one of the most beautifull London parks and newr the Royal Albert Hall and other great places ideal for solo travelers .

On arrival, the service was quite slow, to be fair it was just after midnight when I arrived, but even so it took somebody a very long time to respond to the bell. Agree place to stay in a very nice location will certainly try again.

I have stayed at this hostel multiple times over the last few years. The building which the hostel is located in is next level in old architecture. The hostel has a good kitchen with ovens and a large common area with a projection screen for movies. The rooms are spacious and comfortable besides the bunk beds being very squeaky. My observation on this stay was most of the old staff have left and been with new staff members of which some have a bad attitude towards paying customers. I know the summer high season is draining on your mental and working state. With people asking stupid questions and having to deal with complaints all the time. The staff at the Astor Victoria hostel are way friendlier and helpful.

Basically what it says on the tin, you get what you paid for. The location was the best thing about this hostel, really convenient especially if you've finished a show at Royal Albert Hall at night.

Friendly staff, clean room. Close to Hyde Park, bus stop, and the tube. There is no lift in the hostel.

I love this hostel for people staying there. So many creative young musicians. You can enjoy free piano performances 😉 Lovely space

London can be expensive but the location of this hostel makes for an affordable place to stay Please note they are no elevators in the building So beer that in mind when booking
