Hilton London Kensington Hotel

I was disappointed with my stay at the Hilton Kensington. The room had no air conditioning, which made it very uncomfortable, especially during warm weather. When I reported the issue, the staff explained that they were fully booked and couldn’t move me to another room. Instead, they provided a fan. While I appreciate that they tried to help, a fan was not an adequate replacement for air conditioning, and it didn’t make the room comfortable enough. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better facilities and a more satisfactory solution.

The location of the hotel is excellent. 10 mins walk from Sherperds Bush underground station and Westfield Shopping Centre. Bus 94 is right opposite to the main entrance of the hotel, which goes directly to Piccadilly Circus via Holland Park, Nottinghill Gate, Oxford Street and Bond Street. Air con is cool, and the hotel even provided free ice cream during the days when the heat wave hit London.

The location was very convenient. Closer to central line - Shepherds Bush. Hotel’s room is small but it is clean. They helped us in storing our luggage too!!

Perfect location to shepherds bush underground. When arriving we were shocked at how crammed in the room was, and after looking around it was very dated and tired, the whole room needed a full refurbishment. When we went to bed we were very disappointed with Hilton, as we know they're hotels are great (usually) but in this instance we the mattresses were awful lumpy and bumpy with springs in our backs all night, let alone a twangy sound everythime we moved. I complained to reception who said no problem we will either change the mattress or offer another room, if we didnt mind, he was a lovely man and couldn't do more. So we left it with them to sort while we spent the day out. On our return we spoke to the front desk who told us it was all sorted. We returned to our room to find the bed was still unmade so knew nothing had been changed at all. I rang front desk who put the phone down on me, so I called back and they said will find out and put phone down again. He called back and said all mattresses are the same, (which i doubtl, shocked they didnt just move us, so rude too! So yet another sleepless night thank you Hilton staff!! We told the same man who saw us the previous day and he wasn't happy and didnt understand why we didnt change rooms, as he made sure all was sorted before he went off shift.

Location was very convenient and easily accessible from the tube. The room was comfortable and as it was on the 7th floor it was very quiet. The room was equipped with necessities. Also, the hotel staff arranged a surprise which was amazing and very thoughtful!

We had a problem with our ac but the team handled it very well and compensated us fairly and the amenities in the room were superb!
