Excellent location, helpful and kind staff. The rooms and common areas were kept in good condition. Staying here is highly recommended!

Great location (zone 1, next to Edgware Road station). Clean and hygienic, helpful staff. However there is no kitchen facility so I can’t put food/drink in fridge or heat up food.

Great staff, service, cleaners but some of the bathroom/rooms had a holes/mold in corners which was very off puting. Need a paint job & fix that.

I was pleasantly surprised, the bed linen was clean and my check-in at 1:50 am went well. I will return to this place.

They are big scammers when I arrived there he didn’t let me in and didn’t give me any space even didn’t refund my money back very disappointed and not recommended at all

The place are very well located, just next to the Bakerloo Line and with plenty of BUS stops/routes nearby. The old style pub is very charming and comfy. As a guest, you can stay in the Pub during the night, with good music and a peaceful atmosphere. The food and coffee are amazing, and having here an English breakfast is one of my favorite times in the morning/day. The beds are confortable and the rooms and toilets are clean regularly. All the service here is top notch. I truly appreciate the sympathy and care of the workers. Specially, Aisha is truly a good worker and a master in bringing good vibes to the place, and she will make sure you don’t have any problems during your stay. I’m grateful for her and the rest of the team’s help. It’s been a pleasure meeting you and this place. I will always comeback, when the opportunity calls for it.

A Brazilian woman, who had lost her passport and was clearly in distress, was not only denied support but treated with cold suspicion, discriminatory behaviour, and overt xenophobia. Instead of empathy, she encountered hostility. Instead of privacy, she was publicly confronted. Instead of dignity, she was forced to justify her very presence — quietly seated, with her luggage beside her. Staff not only refused to assist her in contacting the Brazilian Embassy — which, under international norms, should have been the first step — but also pressured her to vacate the space, even though she had paid for her stay. This is a violation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (1963), which guarantees the right of every foreign national to consular protection. Let me be clear: she did not break any laws. She did not raise her voice. She did not cause any harm. Yet, she was treated as if her mere foreignness was an offence. The situation was so egregious that it resulted in an official police report, which has now been registered with the Metropolitan Police. To date, no representative from the Green Man Pub has offered any response or formal apology, even after direct attempts were made to engage constructively. This review is not written out of anger, but out of duty. Xenophobia is not just morally wrong — it is institutionally corrosive. It erodes trust, dignity, and the fabric of a civil society. To other travellers — especially women, immigrants and persons of colour: exercise caution when considering this establishment. And to management: silence in the face of discrimination is complicity.

The location is incredibly close to Paddington, making it very convenient for getting around.

overnight stay that's walking distance to Marylebone station for trains out of London. Inexpensive, sufficient if you need to crash, safe and secure. Bathroom shower worked great and Sainsbury nearby. Checked in in the pub section with a key card fob to access the steps to the hostel rooms upstairs. Request for bed in the lower bunk as no AC and small locker for variables. Pointed the fan up to make it reasonably cool on hot stuffy days. Great for location and price would use again.

This was a good stay & had a good night's sleep. The females I shared with were considerate. The door was not working with the key card.

Very, very 🔥 hot, couldn't sleep left while dark just to cool down.
