Stayed in room 621 on a short trip to see a play. The service was helpful, receptionist was nice. Easy to find, v close to Victoria and the room was expectedly small. It was basic, clean except for some kinky hand prints on the walls the cleaners hadn't noticed. Nothing really to complain about in those regards. But we had an air conditioning unit outside our window and a door to service it. The window was poorly fitted, with cold air flowing in even when it was closed. But the main problem was noise. The noise from both the trains and AC unit dominated our room. The window and door did nothing to dampen it at all. It was so loud that neither me nor my partner slept. Ironically, our AC didn't seem to be working. Other reviews of this hotel indicate this problem doesn't effect all rooms, but why roll the dice? A hotels basic function is sleep, if it fails in that respect it fails entirely.
