The owner is old and never return message or calls through *******. Spiders on the wall, bed bugs on the mattresses, toilets filthy, disgusting, ran down like a crack house, trap house, blankets with piss stains on them, broken chandelier, miscellaneous old broken down furniture, broken water heater laying at the front entry door of room, odor blankets that never been wash, scary, and should be ban from ******* as an partner. Customer service representative Elvis said to get out and recommended Brunel Hotel for our safety. ******* can’t get ahold of owner to refund the full amount of money. ******* should be held accountable for allowing this to happen to its customer with a horrible experience. We check out the next day and the ******* customer representative Elvis found us a safe, and clean hotel in Paddington.
Now we are waiting for ******* to refund us our money for this nasty experience.

I found it wasn't possible to arrange a late in as they don't answer the phone or respond to messages. They generally are very difficult to deal with. I won't book again.

The neighborhood looked appealing, near Hyde Park.
But, while friendly and nice, the host is unresponsive to any form of inquiry. No replies to emails and phone calls. We connected by chance at the property front door to check in after a long wait outside with no responses. He was not expecting our arrival, even with reservations made weeks before. Flat was not cleaned.
The flat had no hot water, the kitchen was poorly equipped, and very dirty and moldy. We could not use anything in the kitchen, or take a shower with no hot water. The keys to the building and the flat worked very poorly, nearly locking us out on the front step in the dark.
We left after the first night, with two more nights unused, and so far no response for any refund.

This is a scam. I booked via *********** and weirdly the hotel called me to confirm check in time. I thought it was weird at the time. Upon arrival at the agreed time the hotel basically didn’t exist. It looks like the photos but I rang all 12 doorbells to no avail. Their phone numbers don’t work. We had to find alternative accommodation. *********** refunded my money but I still don’t understand why they called me. They didn’t ask for any info like cc details but even so they do have some of my personal data

This place is a nasty in every sense of the word. It is dirty. And hasn’t been properly cleaned ever. No toilet paper on arrival and no staff on duty after 6 pm or before 10 am. It smells like mildew. It has mice that eat any food you leave in bags, granola, ****y, etc. hot water only ran about 49 seconds before going completely cold. Floor tiles broken and or missing in bath and one bedroom. ******* should be ashamed to list any place that is this bad.

I had to clean the room myself. I was not able to vacuum it because his vacuum was not working. The room smelled like dust. I took my own sheets and pillowcases. Every time I asked if I could have the room clean. I was told the maid called out. I was there for 9 nights. I had to clean it myself every day. The lift was not working. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The location was great, and the street outside was very quiet. We had a good nights sleep every night. But the standard was low. The toilet was leaking throughout our stay. All in all we had a nice stay, and would actually like to come back, even the low standard. But be prepared of dirty carpet and rusty shower.

The property has so much potential and the area is amazing. The hotel it’s self was very run down, dirty, and was falling apart. It is in dire need of major renovations. I can say that the bed linens and towels were clean, but that’s about it. I can tell this place was great in its hey dey and it really can be great again.

Absolutely dreadful service! Booked this places weeks in advance only to get a call 4 days before my stay telling me to cancel it as I wouldn’t like it as it’s an apartment in the basement with no windows and damp. This is not reflected in the photos or the room description on the website. Told me I would have free cancellation. So I cancelled it and had to find somewhere else within my budget and such short notice which wasn’t easy. However I never got a refund and had to raise this with **********. I’m still waiting to get my refund! Terrible customer service! Stay clear from this one, it’s really not worth the hassle!

Stayed for 7 nights. Very good location but terribly dirty. In the pics you see a kitchenette, but can't use it. The oven cause of risk of fire, so much stuck grease that might blow up. Very blumpy bed. Good things: Hot water, the sheets and towels were clean. Privacy. Nobody knocking on the door for a week to ask if I have at least trash to take out :D.

After booking more then a month in advantage i got a call from the hotel the day before our stay informing me that they could not accommodate us because we only booked one night. They quite rude when i questioned why they didn't inform me much earlier instead of leaving me just one afternoon to find another accommodation.

Super interesting building. Lots of deferred maintenance. Could be an amazing boutique hotel with a major refresh. The management is not up to the challenge of running this property.

The hotel misrepresented all aspects of the hotel rooms, cleaning processes, and maintenance of the hotel
The hotel misrepresented the check in procedure:
The door was locked and unresponsive to knocking.
The door had a paper identifying two phone numbers that “Arrivals” could call.
Both numbers went to voice mail and said that the mailbox was full, and no message could be left.
We called ******* and described the problem.
After about an hour, ******* offered to cancel the reservation because there was no check in available.
At about the same time, another couple trying to check in managed to make contact with the hotel owner via another booking service. At that time, I was able to talk to the owner and he assured us someone would arrive to check us in.
After about a half hour we were shown our room after being required to carry our bags up two flights of stairs because the elevator was inoperative
We inspected the room and found that the bathroom ceiling was leaking directly over the toilet and that the toilet floor was rotting because of this
The person suggested that there was another room, another flight up, and we informed him this was unacceptable unless there was an operating lift. He informed us that there was very little reason to believe that the lift would be repaired during our visit. As a result, we informed him this apartment was unacceptable without viewing it.
We observed the other couple complain that their room had not been cleaned.
