Kaya Great Northern Hotel, London

The hotel was in a great location and has a great view of kings cross station from my room. Facilities were pretty good too. Only complaint was the coffee machine in the pantry on level 5 didn't seem to work on Sat morning (worked fine on fri evening). I also tried to arrange a fixed fare airport transfer from the hotel but I wasn't aware they had some difficulty booking due to protests at some key roads on Saturday, so had to pay the full black cab fare that came up to ~40 pounds more than what I was quoted for the hotel rate. Would recommend to schedule the cab either before check out or just take the picadilly line since the time difference on Saturdays is minimal due to road closures from protests.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Myself and my grandma stayed the weekend and enjoyed a fabulous two night stay at this hotel. We were greated warmly by friendly staff and treated so nicely during our stay. The breakfast was amazing and the staff in the restaurant were so attentive and pleasant. The rooms were so clean and we didn’t expect to have turn down service our second night so it was very nice to arrive back to the hotel after a late night sure and find the staff had re done our room and left more water and chocolate. The pantries on each floor are such a great idea, we would pop in our robes and make cups of tea in the pantry either in the morning or the evening; and delicious biscuits, cakes and fruit were always stocked in there as well. We didn’t use our little coffee machine and opted to use the pantry for all hot drinks instead. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Great staff. Very helpful. The hotel is a great location for when you want to be in the center. Easy to grab a train in any direction. The rooms are quite small. I did end up hitting my toe on the shower door as I opened it.

The hotel was lovely in a lovely location staff and hotel both excellent we had lunch in restaurant again lovely only negative was not hot water we rang and was told to run shower for 10 mins but stil nothing more than barely warm which was a shame is it spoilt a lovely stay
