Room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The toilet was quite small, but clean. However, the shower faucet was leaking and the water temperature was very unstable — it kept switching between very hot and very cold, so constant adjustment was needed.
One important thing to note is that some rooms are located on the top floor with 4–5 flights of narrow, steep stairs and no lift. Carrying a large suitcase up would be very difficult unless you are physically strong.
There was also no proper blanket provided, only a flat sheet on the bed. If you feel cold, you need to use the bed cover on top, which did not feel very hygienic as it had quite a few stains.
Breakfast was adequate, and the location was excellent and very convenient.
Overall, the room might feel overpriced for what you get, but to be fair, this is fairly typical London standard for this price range.

Good location, near Paddington station which is convenient. Paddington station has free tab water and free toilets. There were a lot of food stores in Paddington.
The hotel provides continental breakfast 7:00-9:15 Am sharply, must come on-time.
The uncomfortable thing is too narrow and steep stairs.
My room was on the 4th floor, I had to carry more than 20 kg of my luggages.

***DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL*** (or any other hotel connected to them, i,e Alexander Hotel..etc)
Room was absolutely filthy upon arrival. Sheets filthy. Walls filthy. Carpets filthy. Huge strands of what looked like ***** hair in the sink in the toilet. No lifts, just stairs. Stairs to the floor up to the room filthy. Made complaint to reception desk, they offered another room. That was also filthy. Manager was called from receptionist to come deal with the issue, and refused come down and manage the situation.
Trip.com claimed they attempted to get intouch with the manager to get a full refund, but said they were unable to get intouch. They tried over the course of 3 days. They kept offering "Trip Coins" as they were unable to refund money into my account because the manager wasn't answering their phone to them. In the end, Trip.com gave me £60 back in "Trip Coin", which was still unacceptable as we did not stay in either of the rooms offered by Seymour Hotel.

The room was lovely with nice views, all I wanted was a cold shower and a sleep so very happy overall. Front desk staff were jolly and helpful and held my luggage for the day after checkout so I could explore. H

On the first day, I had a problem: the toilet door wouldn't open. I called customer service to complain, and they told me to go down to reception to get a bathroom key. I refused because the room was on the fourth floor, which is high up, and I'm 65 years old. It took a long time until they finally sent someone to open the bathroom. The next day, I asked to change rooms. Actually, the receptionist, named Omar, was a friendly and polite young man who changed my room to a ground-floor room, which was excellent.

Central to most locations with Paddington at your doorstep; buses outside the hotel front door across London City.
Local shops - cafes, fast food joints, coffee bars, with Paddington restaurants at your door. High St - Oxford St 5mins by bus, ideal. Grocery shops 2mins away with larger stores within 10mins.
If you're touring or on a busy schedule great place to rest your head and keep moving.

Everything was great, but the hallway was a bit narrow. It might be inconvenient if you have large luggage.

Very basic, very used and very old looking. Annoying things like no bath Matt, no sink plug, kettle didn’t work. My room was on the ground floor and people could see right in, no net curtain so had to draw the main curtains for privacy. Paper thin walls to next rooms.
Nothing really felt clean.
On the plus side, good location.

The location is great, and the staff are friendly. However, the rooms are carpeted and not vacuumed, so they aren't clean. The sheets also aren't changed often. On the plus side, every day they offered to change my towel and empty my bin. The breakfast isn't really anything special! So, I recommend booking a room, but skip the breakfast.

The room was fine, clean and had everything a solo traveller needed except a WiFi connection. A USB would have been useful too, but that is being pedantic.

The room was clean but rather small. The furniture had typical old British vibes and was pretty charming. Just really boiling hot at night, while it was cold and windy outside. Window doesn't fully close, which causes you to hear sounds from outside. However, due to its excellent location it is pretty peaceful at night. The room had all necessary amenities, which was pretty awesome for the price. Nice neighbourhood, with a cute park and Underground close by. Reception was rather cold, however, and room designation was confusing. Good stay for a few days, but might need something else for a longer period.

It was good. They provide coffee and tea in the room, in addition to breakfast. The only thing was that the room had a slightly strange smell.
