Asked for pillows before checking in, and 4 times in two days. Never came. Breakfast was lame.

The single room have a fair size and it's comfortable, not enough to stay in a long stay but good enough for a couple of days.

The room was clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable.
The location is a little far from central London, but we were able to go to major spots from the bus stop in front of the hotel.
I only used the breakfast once, but I was disappointed that there were no vegetables.

The best hotel in Longjiang, very convenient, next to the train station, you can see the lake view and most of the town from the rooftop, it's so beautiful! The hotel room is big and clean. I like it very much and will go again!

Loved our stay at Mama Shelter however the service in the restaurant/bar was incredibly disappointing. On both evenings we felt that we were bothering the staff by asking to order some food and drinks. On the second night specifically we were ignored by wait staff for 20 minutes. Feeling invisible in a restaurant is never nice. I had to order myself from the bar, set the table, pour water and we were still charged service charge for two appetizers... really left a sour taste. The restaurant was not closed as another couple came in after our food arrived with a child and were given full service on the next table.
Won't be returning because of this.
Apart from that, rooms, reception were great.

We had a fantastic time at Mama Shelter in Shoreditch. We ate in the hotel a few times. The breakfast was great. Rooms clean and spacious. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
We would definitely recommend and stay again.
Good location for tube and bus into central London

This is a fun hotel, the room is nice and cozy, and the staff is attentive and cute. I really liked staying there, and would stay again.
The only downsides are that it is a bit far from the underground but there's a bus stop right in front of it.
And the walls could be more soundproof (doors and other things banging could be often heard).
Overall it was a lovely stay!
