There’s a grumpy receptionist sometimes. The room is classic and cozy. Location is good enough

If we didn't have the problems at the hotel the rest is quite a good experience as it is in a nice area, near Earls Court Station and museums and links to transportation.
So we arrived at the hotel and the lift was broken. They didn't know when it would be fixed. If ever.
I chose this hotel just for the fact that in the pictures it showed a bathtub. When we had our room ours was the only one without a proper working bath tub. There was no plug so we couldn't use the tub. I asked hotel they said there is possibly a leak so they didn't put a plug. But next day they would inform me. Next day I was offered a change of room but since we were out all day we didn't want to wait till noon to get a change. So no bath tub experience and it was dirty anyway.
I asked for the room to be cleaned. The next evening when we came back the new pillow cases had blood or some kind of dirt spots on them which was not nice. Previous night the cases were cleaner.
In the middle of the night the bathroom fan cover fell. It looks like they merely glued it to the ceiling.
No proper AC just a fan and if you don't like hot rooms this is not for you

Just came back from a 2 day shopping trip to London. I couldn't fault this hotel and it's staff. Thank you it was fantastic and super clean and friendly. I will be a regular this is a hidden gem so close to the natural history museum, Victoria and Albert museum and Harrods. See you soon!!

Spent a couple of days in London, visiting a friend and doing some site seeing. Good location and friendly staff. Everything i needed for a short stay. Comfortable bed and wpild stay again.

There is no air conditioner there , Book this hotel if you love sweating through 30°C British summer days!
