Subway stations (Embankment, Charing Cross) are also nearby, making getting around very convenient. 2. Room layout and amenities The room has a small kitchen (refrigerator, sink) for basic cooking, free Wi-Fi, and ample storage space, making it feel like a 'home away from home' for longer stays. 3. Front desk/Service Most guests appreciate the friendly staff and smooth check-in process. Thoughtful amenities like the complimentary coffee machine are a plus. Cons: 1. Outdated facilities and cleanliness issues The room facilities feel old, and the cleanliness was not as good as expected. Specifically, the maintenance of the bed and bathroom was off-putting.

Good central location for business or leisure travel

The location was absolutely fantastic! All the major sights like Big Ben, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, and the National Gallery were within a 5-10 minute walk. Since we needed a room for four people, we stayed in an apartment-style room. It had everything we needed: a kitchen, a bathtub, one large double bed, and a sofa bed for two more. I also appreciated that the toilet was separate from the shower room. However, the dishwasher inside was rusty and not very clean. Plus, there was a constant noise, whether it was from the pipes or the room upstairs, which kept me up at night.

Great location self serviced apartments… a bit out of date but comfortable enough. Free coffee in lobby is great easy to get around from .

Great value for money. Superb location and seamless service. Ideal for a theatre trip with the family. There are places more nicely finished but not at this price point for the prime time location. We will definitely use again.

The Citadine is well located just off Trafalgar Square and close to The River. The apartments are well furnished and include a small well equipped kitchenette. The sitting area on the ground floor are ideal if you are staying with friends and you can have coffee from the free dispensers

Great location for getting around and restaurants but no housekeeping for our 4-night stay.

Very central, big hotel. free coffee in.lobby. This Citadines didnt include housekeeping unless it was paid extra. There was no mention anywhere of this in hotel description during booking. I was at a Citadines 1 week before in Tokyo and there they had a choice, both free. According to London reception.desk it.was.because these are *apartments* (but so were the Tokyo ones) and they told TRIP.com didnt provide all info and they were not responsible. I was asked to leave a review on Citadines where I mentioned this issue to receive a very 'defensive' reply of reception manager after a few minutes. Its not a super big deal but the way London staff handled things is not like one would hope: very defensive and not very nice honestly.

The hotel staff are friendly and the location is excellent. Located on the main street, it is within walking distance of Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the National Gallery, the Musical Street, Piccadilly Circus, and many other attractions. The hotel is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, frying pan, pot, plates, bowls, cups, wine opener, kitchen scissors, and even a ladle. The refrigerator is also large, making it convenient to cook meals.
