St Giles London – A St Giles Hotel

The room was basic but adequate. I don’t think there are renovations being done at the moment (June 2024) but we were on the top floor and in an old style room. I was generally clean but dirty marks on the pillows. The bathroom however, was really smelly and not pleasant to use. Top floor not for those with vertigo!! That said it was a great location and staff were lovely. I expect the renovated rooms will be lovely (and more pricey). Value for money in the room we had was good.

We had a lovely stay at St Giles, London. Well located hotel, near to Tottenham Court Road Station, bus stops, supermarkets, shops, eateries, theatres etc. From Heathrow Airport, we took the Elizabeth line to Tottenham Court Road Station and hotel was just a short walk away. The British museum was also nearby. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. As we arrived rather early, Nikki helped us to secure a room earlier than official check in time, so that we can put our luggages and rest. The concierge guys were great, giving advice on how best to get to our destination. The Chinese gentleman, sorry, I didn't get his name, even helped me with my Bolt app bookings! We booked 2 new twin rooms. Although they were small, they were sufficient for 2 pax in each room. All amenities that we needed were available and rooms were cleaned thoroughly when we returned from our sightseeing. There was no air conditioner in the rooms but weather was great, so we had no issues. The breakfast served was excellent, with a wide variety. Good choice for our short stay in London.

Overall very nice and tidy. Someone will tidy the room every day. And you can store your luggage, so you don’t have to carry your luggage to play. There is an underground and bus station nearby and it is very convenient to go to other places. Also, you can walk to Chinatown on foot for 11 minutes.

The location is good but it’s a very old and small room. The lobby is nice but the room is really too old!! The pillow is out of shape but still using it. The room that I stay is totally not like the modern room that shown in the picture, I believe some of the rooms are Renovated but some still very old rooms like the one I’m staying, not really recommended for the old rooms like this for this price.

Clean big and safe , very nice

Had a very nice time at Hotel St Giles. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are not too cold or too hot. My only complain is that the blinds didn’t work in mu room and. I would have liked a little sunshine. Breakfast was great but I would add black pudding to the menu. Apart from that. Nothing to fault.

Close to city centre and underground station entrance. The room is tidy and clean, though the room area is quite small. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Overall the service was friendly and personable. The room was quite basic but I had a comfortable bed. There was a little bit of noise from the road below and some construction work.
