Facilities: The facilities are terrible. Everything in the hotel is very old. The phone was broken, and the carpet was torn.
Hygiene: The hygiene was awful. It felt like the cleaning staff were cutting corners. The toilet wasn't clean, and there were multiple red stains on the carpet and desk/cabinet, I don't even know if it was blood.
Service: Later, when I asked to change rooms, this hotel got even more ridiculous. The first front desk staff refused to switch rooms, so I contacted Trip.com customer service. The hotel then dragged its feet with me for 2 hours (Trip.com kept following up during this time, which I appreciate). After quite a while, someone finally came, looked around blankly, took a few photos, and left, saying they'd report it to the manager, and then I heard nothing. I waited until midnight, and I'd had enough, so I dragged my luggage downstairs to the front desk. The front desk finally changed my room. Although the new room was a bit cleaner, the facilities were still bad. Several charging sockets were broken, and there were no slippers. This hotel really has a pile of small issues, one problem after another. On the second day in the new room, they didn't even replenish the water, and the cleaning still seemed very superficial (at least compared to other hotels of the same caliber I've stayed in). Finally, something even more outrageous: on the day of checkout, the hotel charged for luggage storage – 6 pounds per small item and 8 pounds per large item. I'm speechless, first time I've ever seen that. I seriously wonder where I ended up, is this a hotel run by refugees?
Overall, the cleaning staff here are incredibly negligent, making it impossible to stay with peace of mind! Please, avoid this hotel at all costs. Over 1200 a night isn't cheap, and the service in all aspects is worse than a 2 or 3-star hotel. It's truly terrible, couldn't be worse.
