The Tower Hotel, by Thistle

From the moment we arrived, the staff made check-in seamless and welcoming. But the absolute highlight of our stay was the location—waking up every morning to direct, stunning views of Tower Bridge and the River Thames is something special. You are literally steps away from the iconic bridge, the Tower of London, and St Katharine Docks, which offers fantastic dining options right by the marina. Tower Hill Underground Station and the Uber Boat/Thames Clippers pier are just a short walk away, making getting around the city fast and simple. Highly Recommended .

Was there for my friends birthday and everything was amazing. Requested a room by the Thames since it was my friends birthday and they provided exactly that. Definitely will be back and definetly recommend.

I stayed here with my 11 year old son. What a lovely place to stay. We arrived to music and an outdoor restaurant vibe. In the evening we had a walk round for a meal of Katherine Docks. The atmosphere felt safe and lovely. In the morning we took the city cruise from the Tower Pier, which is a short walk away, back up to Westminster. There just lots available for you Around the hotel.

Beds are comfy. Clean. Shower held its temperature and was powerful although a bit low for 6’5 as had to crouch a bit. Great view of the bridge. Towel rail fell off when I put my towel on it and the toilet roll holder was loose and wobbling about. Was good over all though.

Friday. Check in was so easy so good didn't need to speak to staff other than to ask where the lifts were. Room on tenth floor with great view of the Thames and part of Tower Bridge. A very busy hotel al all times. Enjoyable stay. However, the rooms ac very noisy and at gone midnight had to go down to reception to complain (phone not working). Concierge said will arrange to turn off centrally which was done and should be fixed next day. Saturday. On going to bed found that I could now control the ac but it was still very noisy so turned off. Not very good with the hot weather.

Me and my partner stayed here for 7 nights in the standard double room with a Tower Bridge view. Wow we were absolutely thrilled with this hotel. The view was like nothing else and the location couldn’t have been better. I actually didn’t realise it was right at the Tower Bridge, it was so special staying right there. It has an amazing restaurant / bar open late and had such a fun atmosphere. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel was super cool. We loved that there was food trucks just out side the hotel and a grocery store around the corner opened until late which also sold alcohol. We did have a few problems with our room and the staff were super helpful and accommodating and made sure we were happy. The rooms were a little run down but I personally feel it’s worth it. Our biggest problem was the ac not working in the heatwave but they were able to change our rooms and provide portable fans and aircons. What you get for the price is a bargain and we were so happy to sacrifice the room not being luxury for the view and location.

Loved the location, and the view (river side) however, the ongoing renovation works was irritating beyond irritation. This had been going on since our last stay this year in April. Sadly, the staff were not very friendly, bordering on blatant rude. Our shower was blocked and took 14 hours to finally rectify it. Housekeeping, when done was a poor quality, and I ended up remaking our bed on 2 of the 3 times we had housekeeping. It’s a small detail, but we paid a princely sum to stay here, and it wasn’t great. Further the A/c was broken in the room so we had a portable unit which was louder than a jumbo jet. Overall really really disappointing.
