After walking out of where we booked we received a warm friendly welcome from the lovely man on reception. He explained it was a basic small room and asked us to view first. It was so clean my husband shaved using the door plate. Iron, hairdryer, towels, soap, TV and reception spent time searching the theatre we were going to and travel. Yes the room was small but clean comfortable and all we needed with extra bonus of sml breakfast in our room. Thank you 😊 we will be back ...oh and I did get paint on my hands as I was stupid enough to put them where they had just painted but they couldn't do enough for me (almost put me in the shower) fab

Fabulous location for access to Paddington station. Easily walkable for anyone. Beautiful building from outside. Very Peter Pan! Variety of restaurants etc around. Room small but fit our needs. Not as clean as most hotel rooms , but in areas that didn't really matter, bathroom floor dusty in corner etc. Beds not the most comfortable , but when you're tired they're ok. Continental Breakfast delivered to room sufficed. LOTS of stairs- but we survived! I would stay here again.

Terrible smells in the room and corridor, staff that behave as if they’re too busy to attend to you, so called breakfast is a bag food brought to your door at a requested time, old uncomfortable mattress, fungal stained towels.

What a dump of a place! Requested a top floor room to avoid the worst of any noise disturbances. This was confirmed as ok by the hotel but when I arrived I was given a ground floor ‘room’ (it was more like a mouldy/dirty cupboard with an ‘en-suite’. Wires everywhere, dirty throughout, shelf above tiny sink waiting to bang your head, the so-called continental breakfast was farcical (I l declined & went to McDonald’s instead!). Lots more wrong with the dump but honestly got better things to be doing! Just an appalling healthy & safety nightmare of an establishment - made worse by an arrogant / rude owner Do yourself a favour and swerve this place!

Atrocious experience. Tony’s hotel had a leak, so I was taken to another hotel which was grossly inferior. The window did not lock, the bed linen was stained, there were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room, the shower curtain was held up with rings, there was a dirty rag on the floor, no bedside light.
I did not feel safe in that hotel and there were no vacancies nearby.
I am still waiting for a refund

Where do I start. Dirty, musty smell throughout, windows don't close, curtains don't fit and lights don't work. No where to put cases or clothes except for a tiny wardrobe with two coat hangers. The whole place could do with a deep clean. Hotel was chosen for its close proximity to the hospital. Breakfast OK, continental and brought to the room on a tray. Staff polite and helpful.

this hotel is the worst I have ever been in. Its is dirty and not even worth a one star never mind the very small room with 2 double beds, paper coming off the wall, a rusty fridge and a disgusting bathroom with a toilet that did not work. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I am still fighting to get a full refund considering it cost me £400 for a 2 night stay. Had to book another hotel costing £620 for 2 nights as there was no way myself or my 3 children where sleeping in those dirty beds. How can this hotel get away with advertising beautiful clean modern rooms when the rooms are nothing like that. It spoilt our first time in london for the weekend

the reception guy named “aqeel” was really nice and courteous. at any time he was at our disposal, even bringing us breakfast in the room. he fulfilled every request on our part. the hotel is central and well connected to almost all areas. in the next street there are buses that take you to the center but it is still possible to walk there in a few minutes.
