72QT

I’ve been staying at student accommodation in London for years - the LSE and Goodenough college to name a couple, but until a few weeks ago I’d never heard of 72QT, a guest house where profits are shared amongst the Latvian community in London. As London hotel prices are increasing by the month and as student accommodation is not available while students are in residence I thought I’d give 72QT a try. I’m glad I did. Located only a few minutes walk from Queensway station this guest house is old fashioned but clean. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. All messages had a swift response and the lady on reception even printed my boarding pass and popped it under my door. Customer service was excellent. My room was very much like a room at the LSE - small, the bare minimum. Breakfast was satisfactory (not a very large cooked breakfast) but nowhere near as good as that at Rosebery Hall. Overall, 72QT is in an excellent location, staff are extremely helpful and it is reasonably priced.

Every time I go to London I stay here- it feels very safe, very well run. The rooms feel homely and are always immaculately clean. I've stayed in much more expensive hotels and they feel so impersonal and sterile, 72QT feels like what a guest house should feel like calm, caring, unpretentious, always respectful the breakfast is delicious and very filling a highlight of coming to London, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend

First time stay, and as a solo traveller I was impressed. Easy to find, nice welcome on arrival and just a pleasant night. Rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable, well equipped with a sink, towels, toiletries, tv, tea and coffee. Nice double bed, a quiet nights sleep and the shared bathroom all you need. Loads of separate toilets as well and very well placed. Nice decent sized breakfast, freshly cooked, tea, coffee, cereals and toast as well should you need more. An unexpected place, felt very safe and would definitely use again.

Stayed here for 1 night for an overnight London break for my sons 18th. Great location, clean comfortable rooms and beds, lovely breakfast and quiet location. Stayed in room 1a, overlooking the courtyard at the back of the hotel. Very spacious room, bathroom and kitchen area . The lady on reception and breakfast very friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

Absolutely loved everyhing - friendly staff, good breakfast, garden. May be beds were not the best, but still evenings in the inner garden was worth it. Especially in extremely hot weather. Very good location with metro stations and shops nearby.

Everything about this wonderful guest house was perfect, especially the helpful and friendly staff. Clean, simple rooms, delicious breakfast served in the lovely outdoor patio, half-block from Hyde Park, 15-minute walking distance to Paddington Station. My family and I would stay again in a heartbeat. Five stars!!
