Leonardo Royal London Tower Bridge

The hygiene was so-so, and the facilities were very basic. But why the five-star service rating? Because one of the breakfast staff members was incredibly friendly and helpful! The location is super convenient, no complaints there. For business trips or exhibitions, it's easy to get anywhere. The facilities are just okay, passable. It's comparable to an older four-star hotel in China.

The hotel is conveniently located near Tower Bridge and Tower Hill tube station. This was my second stay, and the transportation is excellent. The dining area is spacious, and breakfast is quite good. Rooms on the mid-to-high floors offer views of the Gherkin.

The soundproofing was poor due to a wooden door connecting my room to another. The shower in the bathroom leaked. The location wasn't great, and my room didn't have a window view. On the first night, the AC in my assigned room was broken, and the tissue box only had two tissues left. When I tried to check out early, they refused, and the staff's attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. In the new room they gave me, the TV screen suddenly turned on in the middle of the night. Overall, it was an uncomfortable stay, and I will never choose this hotel brand again.

Booked two double beds for two adults and one child. The room was spacious and comfortable. Getting around by taxi was easy, and there's a temporary parking spot right outside. For the subway, there are three stations – Tower Hill, Aldgate, and East – all within a 7-8 minute walk, which is quite convenient and flexible. Downstairs, within a 3-minute walk, you'll find a Tesco Express and a Sainsbury's Local, which are more than enough. There are also a few small restaurants, Chinese supermarkets, and restaurants. I highly recommend a Lebanese eatery there; the food is delicious and affordable. Tower Bridge is also not a far walk. Borough Market is just three bus stops away. Changing trains at London Bridge station is also very convenient.
